About The Team
Our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team's challenge is to help Nubank make better financial decisions. Our mission is to understand the company's performance from a financial perspective by analyzing past results and creating future projections. Broadly, our team is subdivided into FP&A Horizontals, FP&A Markets, FP&A Global Products, FP&A Efficiency, and Procurement.
About The Role
This is a individual contributor position, in which you will be responsible for:
- Analyzing, explaining, and projecting the financial aspects of products related to the Lending Business Unit.
- Improving FP&A processes to generate insights and provide clarity in financial statements, always thinking in a scalable way and using reliable data.
- Understanding and analyzing the impact of product-related decisions on a Business Unit's (BU) financial results.
- Automating reports by connecting them to databases from different sources.
- Building, updating, and reviewing financial models and simulators.
- Preparing and presenting executive materials with financial results to the Business Unit and the Board of Directors.
Basic Qualifications
- Has experience in financial forecasting and analysis (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow)
- Has solid knowledge of financial modeling.
- Has a strong analytical ability to manage and evaluate complex data.
- Is eager to learn and adapts easily to change.
- Has strong communication skills to proactively interact with various business partners and stakeholders (Product, Finance, Markets).
- Has advanced knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets.
- Is proficient in English.
- Has knowledge of programming languages (Scala, SQL, and Python)
