About the Role

As Tech Recruiting Manager, New Markets, you will shape the foundation of Nubank’s global growth. You’ll lead and scale a high-performing recruiting team to launch hiring across the U.S. and Canada, while serving as the strategic architect for every new market we enter. We’re seeking a true builder. Someone who thrives in ambiguity, brings structure to the undefined, and transforms a blank canvas into a world-class, scalable hiring engine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of 8-10 Tech Recruiters, fostering an environment of high performance, continuous learning and accountability.
  • Expansion Strategy: Define and execute scaling strategies for new markets, translating business growth plans into actionable, global talent acquisition pipelines.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Act as the guardian of efficiency; lead with data and analyze complex metrics to identify bottlenecks and ensure healthy, scalable pipelines.
  • Innovation & AI: Propel the team toward sophisticated recruiting practices by integrating AI tools and automation to optimize sourcing and increase hiring accuracy.
  • Strategic Partnership: Act as a consultative partner to Tech leadership, providing market mapping and benchmarking to influence hiring decisions.
  • Process Improvement: Continually refine and enhance recruitment processes, ensuring efficiency, structure, and high-quality outcomes in a high-pressure environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 7+ years in technical recruiting with 3+ years in a leadership role, ideally within fintech or hyper-growth tech companies.
  • New Market Expertise: Proven success in building or scaling teams in complex, international environments (US and Canada a must, LATAM experience is a plus).
  • Tech Fluency:  Strong understanding of the tech talent landscape - you speak the language of Engineering, Product, and Data Science.
  • Effectiveness Mindset: Proven track record of implementing scalable recruiting solutions.
  • Analytical Rigor: A strong data mindset. You don’t just report numbers; you use them to track team performance and predict hiring trends.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication skills and fluency in English, with a demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders, distill complexity, and create clarity in ambiguous environments.

Work Model
