About Nucleus Global

At Nucleus Global, part of Inizio Medical, we believe that exceptional science deserves exceptional communication. We're one of the world's largest medical communications networks, partnering with global pharmaceutical and biotech companies to deliver insight-driven scientific strategies and publications that make a difference in healthcare.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Medical Writer to join our expanding neuroscience publications team, working on a major global account at the forefront of innovation in neurological disorders. This is an opportunity to contribute to high-profile publications and help shape the way fresh science is shared with the medical community.

Your Opportunity

As a Senior Medical Writer, you'll lead the development of scientific publications and communication materials that translate complex neurological data into clear, credible, and engaging narratives. You'll collaborate with global clients, external authors, and internal experts to deliver content that meets the highest scientific and ethical standards while supporting data sharing strategies in the fast-evolving neuroscience field.

You'll also help mentor writers, driving quality and consistency across deliverables, and contributing to strategic discussions on publication planning.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of peer-reviewed manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide decks, and publication plans across a portfolio of neuroscience programs.
  • Translate complex data into accurate, compelling, and audience-appropriate scientific narratives.
  • Collaborate with clients, authors, and opinion leaders throughout the publication process — from concept to submission.
  • Ensure all deliverables follow Good Publication Practice (GPP 2022), ICMJE, and company compliance standards.
  • Provide scientific guidance and editorial review for writers across the team.
  • Partner with account and editorial colleagues to ensure scientific excellence and seamless project delivery.
  • Contribute to strategic publication planning, scientific messaging, and data communication plans.
  • Support new business activities through content development and scientific insight.

About You

  • Minimum degree in a life science discipline; neuroscience background an advantage.
  • Several years of experience in medical communications, with a focus on scientific publications.
  • Background in neurology / CNS therapeutic areas (e.g., multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, migraine, or rare neuro diseases).
  • Knowledge of publication best practices and familiarity with global publication management tools.
  • Collaborative mindset and experience with mentoring and scientific storytelling.

Why Join Nucleus Global

At Nucleus Global, you'll be part of a connected network of over 900 scientific experts, strategists, and creatives — all united by a shared passion for improving health outcomes through the power of science and communication.

We offer:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package including pension and private healthcare
  • Flexible / hybrid working options

  • Opportunities to collaborate across therapy areas and global teams
  • A supportive, inclusive environment that values curiosity, innovation, and excellence
