Location: Bay Area preferred / Remote

Department: Marketing / GTM

Employment Type: Full-time

About Numa

Numa is building the AI-native customer operations platform for auto retail.

We help dealerships run customer communication, service operations, and customer experience with AI embedded directly into the operating layer of the business. Calls, texts, chat, appointments, follow-up, reputation, and real-time visibility, all in one system.

This is a large market, a real problem, and a company with real traction.

We are not looking for a traditional marketer.

We are looking for an AI-native product marketing lead with exceptional horsepower, relentless will to win, sharp taste, and a builder mindset. Someone who can combine positioning, content, growth, and AI-powered execution to help define how Numa wins.

About the Role

This is a high-impact role for someone who is smart, hustles, fast, and unusually capable.

You should be the kind of person who uses AI as part of your default operating system. You know how to go from idea to insight to asset to launch quickly. You can think like a strategist, write like a top-tier marketer, build like a hacker, and operate like an owner.

You will work closely with leadership to sharpen Numa's positioning, strengthen our product story, accelerate launches, and create content and growth assets that materially improve how we compete.

This is not a traditional brand role. This is a builder / operator / storyteller role.

What You'll Do

  • Own and sharpen Numa's positioning, messaging, and category narrative
  • Translate product capabilities into clear, differentiated value propositions
  • Build competitive analysis, differentiation frameworks, and market intelligence
  • Develop pricing, packaging, ROI, and value-story assets
  • Create launch materials, one-pagers, decks, website copy, sales assets, case studies, and founder-led content
  • Build fast landing pages, campaign pages, and lightweight web assets to support launches and experiments
  • Use AI tools aggressively to accelerate research, synthesis, writing, testing, and execution
  • Partner across product, sales, leadership, and AI to turn product strength into market momentum
  • Drive high-leverage content that improves awareness, conversion, and sales effectiveness
  • Raise the standard on speed, quality, clarity, and differentiation

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2–6 years of experience in product marketing, content, growth, strategy, or founder-facing roles
  • Experience at a high-performing startup strongly preferred
  • Extremely smart, fast, and resourceful
  • AI-native in how you work
  • Excellent writer with crisp judgment and strong taste
  • Able to move between strategy and execution with speed
  • Strong at positioning, competitive analysis, differentiation, and value communication
  • Comfortable building quick landing pages, launch assets, or lightweight websites
  • Strong analytical skills; able to build ROI stories, pricing logic, and business cases
  • High agency, high standards, low ego

You May Be a Great Fit If You Have

  • A strong undergraduate track record and have already shown unusual promise early in your career
  • Experience at a startup or in another high-performance, high-accountability environment
  • Range across strategy, writing, analysis, and execution
  • High fluency with AI tools and use them to produce better work, faster
  • A growth mindset: test, learn, iterate, ship
  • Never hid behind perfectionism, yet care about quality

Nice to Have

  • Experience at a strong startup, founder's office, elite internship, or top-tier agency
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, AI products, marketplaces, or vertical software
  • Familiarity with Webflow, Framer, Figma, Notion, Canva, HubSpot, or similar tools
  • Experience creating launch assets, sales enablement, founder content, or market narratives
  • Familiarity with automotive retail is a plus, but not required

What Success Looks Like

  • Numa's positioning gets sharper and more differentiated
  • Product launches become faster and stronger
  • Our website and market-facing assets improve materially
  • Our pricing and ROI story becomes clearer and more persuasive
  • Sales gets stronger messaging and better ammunition
  • The market better understands why Numa matters and why we win

Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary: $150,000 – $175,000 depending on experience and demonstrated ability.

Equity: Meaningful equity participation.

Why Numa

Numa sits at the intersection of AI, workflow automation, and a massive vertical market that is overdue for reinvention.

We are building real products for real operators in an industry where better software directly affects revenue, retention, customer experience, and operational performance. The upside is large, the company has traction, and the opportunity to shape the category is real.
