Job Responsitities:

Publications

  • Contribute to development of Publication Strategy and Publication Plan (in coordination with the Publications Working Team)
  • Execute publication tactics and the Publication Plan
  • Manage the drafting process for clinical publications (with vendor/agency), tracking timelines and ensuring timely reviews, approvals, and submissions
  • Interact with internal and external authors/KOLs related to clinical publications
  • Manage record keeping and digital storage for publications-related materials, including publications metrics

Data Reviews

  • Contribute to development of data review slide decks and derivative materials (with vendor/agency)
  • Support data presentation-related AI projects

Congress Support

  • Support booth staffing, congress materials, and presentation logistics (in coordination with Medical Affairs Operations)
  • Provide dedicated congress/booth Medical Information support

Medical Information

  • Draft Standard Response Letters and manage related Medical and Legal review
  • Ensure timely responses to medical inquiries; coordinate with the Medical Information team at a partner company and track inquiry volumes
  • Create FAQs and reference materials (in coordination with internal Subject Matter Experts)
  • Support Medical Information-related AI projects

Education:

  • Doctoral degree in a medical, biological, or related discipline (PhD, PharmD, MD; MS with relevant experience considered)

Experience:

  • 3-4 years of experience (Sr. Manager) or 4-5 years of experience (Associate Director) in Medical Affairs, Medical Communications, Clinical Publications, or Medical Information
  • Demonstrated experience managing scientific/clinical publications end-to-end
  • Familiarity with publication management and MLR processes/procedures
  • Experience with medical information operations and Standard Response Letter (SRL) development

Skills:

  • Strong working knowledge of GPP, ICMJE, and industry compliance requirements
  • Excellent scientific writing, editing, and critical literature-review skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Project management and time management skills, with the ability to operate within multiple concurrent timelines
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to align with internal teams of Subject Matter Experts representing different functions
