Who You Are:

A successful person in this role will connect our teammates’ everyday work to the company’s mission, vision, and goals. This includes thoughtful guidance for departments and the leaders in Nutrabolt’s back-office and workplace functions. The position reports to the Director, Corporate Communications & Experience, and works closely with the People team and teammates companywide at all levels. This person understands how great storytelling brings a team together to succeed. Project management is key to working with many cross-functional teams. Event planning and presentation skills are a plus. Excellent writing is a must, as is a ‘hustler’ energy in a fast-paced, ambitious organization. While this is a largely internally-focused role, some external messaging and employer brand responsibilities apply.

 

This role is eligible to participate in our Nutrabolt Bonus Plan.             

What You're Good At:

  • Serve as the lead communicator for corporate teams
  • Manage workflow of communications end-to-end using all Nutrabolt online and on-site channels
  • Work closely with the People and Workplace teams on-site in Austin  
  • Produce compelling content in written and visual formats
  • Use journalistic bias for action to “find the story”
  • Evaluate and update current structure and content for corporate teams to maximize productivity and understanding
  • Contribute to workplace events and communications as part of the overall Culture team
  • Ensure that all content is of the highest quality, is creative, inspiring, compelling, and aligns with corporate messaging
  • Collaborate with cross-functional communications partners to execute a comprehensive global internal plan to ensure seamless communications
  • Build and manage an internal communications editorial calendar
  • Drive a culture of performance through best-in-class programs and messaging

What You Contribute: 

  • 5+ years of experience in related communications roles (internal communications experience preferred)
  • Excellent written, visual, and verbal communications skills
  • A track record of delivering successful communications programs
  • Agility and flexibility for a creative, dynamic environment
  • Creative storyteller, editor, and writer able to work in many mediums  
  • Excellence in communications planning across multiple stakeholders and departments
  • Sharp attention to detail and a high bar for quality content
  • Knowledge of industry-best and emerging practices for engaging employees
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with resilience
  • Strong collaboration, partnership, and project management skills
  • Experience building and maintaining an editorial calendar
  • Experience with People team communications is a plus
  • Demonstrated care for corporate citizenship and community service programs

Employment Type: Full-time
