Who You Are:

As Nutrabolt’s Director of Internal Auditor you will be responsible for the overall leadership of the Company’s internal audit function. You will partner with senior leadership to lead projects and initiatives to evaluate and improve the Company’s system of internal controls related to accounting and financial reporting processes.

This role is eligible to participate in our Nutrabolt Bonus Plan.

What You're Good At:

  • Lead the efforts to remediate material weaknesses in internal control over financial reporting
  • Drive the Company’s public company preparedness activities and hold teams accountable to their responsibilities
  • Build and lead a team (internal and outsourced) in reviewing and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of the Company’s system of internal controls
  • Lead efforts to develop and complete written policies and procedures documentation for key processes
  • Work closely with project teams implementing system and/or process improve activities to ensure appropriate internal controls are integrated and documented in the project plan and execution
  • Meet periodically with Company management and Audit Committee to discuss internal audit plans and results and advise on internal control matters, as appropriate
  • Partner with Accounting and Finance executive and senior seadership to develop the Company’s internal audit strategy and recruit resources and plan/execute an effective annual internal audit activities

What You Contribute: 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in accounting or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years internal audit and/or accounting experience including 3-5 years management experience
  • Big 4 audit and/or internal audit services experience preferred
  • Strong hands-on leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Detail oriented, ability to multitask
  • Works well under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent negotiation and change management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
