POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Amazon & Digital Marketplaces Assistant to support our e-commerce operations. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with experience in Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central and strong proficiency in Excel. The role will focus on assisting with product listings, performance monitoring, data analysis, and general marketplace support. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in e-commerce and grow within a fast-paced digital marketing environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
- Assist in managing and updating Amazon product listings, including content, pricing, and inventory tracking.
- Monitor product performance and provide regular reports on sales, rankings, and customer feedback.
- Conduct basic keyword research and implement SEO strategies to improve product visibility.
- Help troubleshoot issues with listings, suppressed products, and compliance requirements.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of brand storefronts and A+ Content.
- Support operations across various Amazon channels, including International Amazon marketplaces and Amazon Fresh, ensuring accurate product listings and compliance with regional requirements.
Data & Performance Analysis
- Utilize Excel to track sales trends, analyze inventory levels, and identify opportunities for growth.
- Generate reports to measure the effectiveness of promotions and advertising campaigns.
- Assist in pricing analysis and competitor benchmarking to ensure optimal positioning in the marketplace.
Operational Support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, logistics, and customer service, to streamline operations.
- Support the management of product catalogs across multiple digital marketplaces.
- Help coordinate promotions, deals, and other merchandising activities.
- Stay up to date with changes in Amazon policies, marketplace trends, and e-commerce best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: 1+ years of experience working with Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, or another e-commerce platform.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Amazon Knowledge: Basic understanding of Amazon listings, SEO, and marketplace operations.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret data and make actionable recommendations.
- Attention to Detail: Organized and methodical approach to managing product listings and inventory.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication for collaboration with internal teams.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot marketplace issues and seek solutions proactively.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with other digital marketplaces such as Walmart, eBay, or Shopify.
- Familiarity with Amazon advertising and PPC campaigns.
- Knowledge of basic graphic design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Figma) for simple content updates.
