Note to applicants: This role is located in Austin, TX.

Who You Are:

The Stage Gate Coordinator will play a critical role in the rebuilding and ongoing execution of the company’s New Product Stage Gate process (internally known as ICE / Innovation Creation Engine). This role serves as the final gatekeeper to ensure projects are fully approved when transitioning gates and provides the analytics and reporting necessary to drive better execution and returns on our New Product investments. This is an individual contributor role that reports to the Supply Chain Commercialization manager. There will be minimal travel expectations for this role.

What You're Good At:

  • Serves as the final “Gatekeeper”; engaging directly with the ICE SteerCo to ensure full compliance to our Gate Approval Process, and that resource expenditure is gated behind those approvals.
  • Ensures Gate Approval candidates have all required documentation to make informed decisions.
  • Builds out and manages the tracking mechanisms for a full-scope view of our project slate, standardizing inputs, tracking performance against established project plans, and assigning root causes to project delays.
  • Leads the formal ICE (Ideas, Concerns, Expectations) Communication Process, publishing weekly “single source of truth” email communication to broad cross-functional audience, facilitating the Weekly ICE Steerco meeting, and helping to lead the quarterly ICE Organizational Update.
  • Provides thoughtful analytical insights and reporting of Nutrabolt’s stage gate execution performance and post-mortem project review process.   Success measured in the effectiveness of this reporting in driving organizational behavior towards faster, more profitable NPD execution.
  • Executes the Post-Mortem Project review, partnering with Finance and Commercial to provide thoughtful analyses of the success of our NPD investments.
  • Leads the scoping and recruitment of a 3rd party technology solution tentatively schedule for implementation in 2027.

What You Contribute:

  • BA degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in project coordination, product development operations, or process management, preferably in an environment that uses stage gate or phase-gate methodologies.
  • Experience in a food, beverage, and/or drug CPG preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and data analysis tools
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing data, documentation, and communications
  • Proven ability to work independently and proactively in a dynamic, high-volume setting
  • Experience collecting and consolidating large data sets
  • Success in driving process automation and standardization
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong sense of urgency and results orientation
  • Willing and able to travel up to 15%
