Who You Are:     

The Senior Buyer is a critical member of the Supply Chain team and plays a key role in ensuring uninterrupted production and product availability for Nutrabolt’s customers. This role will lead material planning and procurement activities for complex beverage co-manufacturers and kitting vendors, as well as coordinating On Time and In Full deliveries of finished goods. The Senior Buyer will be responsible for end-to-end coordination between suppliers, logistics partners, and toll manufacturing and kitting sites to support efficient and timely flow of materials and finished goods into Nutrabolt’s 3PL network.

This position requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of supply chain planning principles, and the ability to navigate complex vendor relationships with precision and professionalism.  The successful candidate will have deep experience in process improvement with a proven track record of establishing best practices.

What You're Good At:

  • Plan, procure, and manage materials required for toll manufacturing and kitting operations.
  • Collaborate closely with co-manufacturers (co-mans) to align production schedules, ensure on-time material delivery, and monitor production status.
  • Coordinate inbound shipments of raw materials, packaging, and components to co-mans and kitting vendors.
  • Create, release, and maintain Production Orders/Shop Orders in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and alignment with production plans.
  • Verify and reconcile material consumptions against production orders to maintain accurate inventory and cost data.
  • Monitor supplier performance and lead times, addressing potential delays or shortages proactively.
  • Partner with the Planning, Logistics, and Quality teams to ensure smooth execution of production runs and product launches.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain processes, material flow, and vendor communication.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to drive accountability and operational excellence.
  • Responsible for maintaining and driving OTIFQ (On Time, In Full, and Quality approved) deliveries.

What You Contribute: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of purchasing, planning, or supply chain experience — preferably within food, beverage, or CPG manufacturing environments.
  • Proven experience working with co-manufacturers, kitting, or toll manufacturing vendors.
  • Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems and production order management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • “Change agent” mentality with leadership attributes and potential.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), e2open MRP
  • APICS/CPIM or CPSM certification.
  • Familiarity with food/beverage regulatory and quality requirements.
  • Strong Excel and data-analysis proficiency.
