Nuts.com is a self-funded, profitable, rapidly growing multi-channel DTC specialty food and wellness company with over 550 people on our team. We're changing the landscape of snacking on nuts, dried fruit, chocolate and more! We planted our roots in Newark, New Jersey during the Great Depression, selling premium nuts on Mulberry Street's open-air market. We've come quite a long way since then, taking our multi-generational family business online in 1999. Even after 96 years, we continue to pride ourselves in expertly sourcing the highest quality foods and treating our customers like family.

The role:

Nuts.com is looking for a strategic Copywriter to join our growing Brand & Creative team. We're in the midst of an exciting rebrand, and need a sharp wordsmith who is ready to help us define, evolve, and champion our new voice across every touchpoint.

This role is equal parts brand-builder and creative executor. You’ll be a key player in shaping the tone of voice for a nearly 100-year-old business that’s entering a bold new era. From leading the charge on verbal identity to crafting conversion-ready copy across channels, you’ll bring our personality to life in ways that are clear, clever, and memorable.

We’re looking for someone who can toggle between strategic thinking and delightful one-liners with ease. You’re collaborative, detail-obsessed, fast on your feet, and deeply curious about what makes people tick.

What you'll do:

• Lead the evolution of our brand voice, and be a guardian of it across all consumer communication touchpoints
• Translate strategic goals into smart messaging that drives action while staying true to the brand
• Lead and contribute to brand storytelling projects including campaign development, brand guidelines, naming, messaging architecture, and more
• Concept and write compelling copy across a variety of channels, including email, paid media, packaging, product pages, web, social, and more
• Collaborate with Creative, Marketing, Product, and eComm teams to bring ideas to life with clarity, consistency, and impact
• Keep an eye on cultural and category trends to keep our voice fresh, fun, and relevant
• Juggle multiple projects at once without sacrificing quality, creativity, or deadlines

What you’ll bring:

• 2-4 years of copywriting experience (agency, in-house, or both)
• A portfolio that showcases both strong conceptual thinking and clean execution
• Experience shaping or evolving a brand’s tone of voice a big plus
• Versatility across formats and platforms - from performance to storytelling, longform to punchy headlines
• Impeccable attention to detail and an ear for brand voice is critical. We are casual, conversational and unapologetically bold
• A collaborative mindset and an eagerness to pitch in, speak up, and make the work better
• A love of snacks doesn’t hurt either

What we offer

• Annual Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 plus annual bonus
