Summary of Position:

NVE Experience Agency is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Event Producer to lead the creation of memorable experiences and ensure successful program delivery to our clients in our B2B department. As an Event Producer on our team, you will oversee all aspects of event production, collaborating with other teams on concept development, and ensuring flawless execution. This role requires agility, professionalism, attention to detail, and grace under pressure. Join us in crafting extraordinary and transformative experiences.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Project Delivery
    • Provide seamless onsite execution
    • Ensure project / program is delivered on-time, on-budget and flawlessly
    • Manage vendors including fabrication, technical partners,
    • Collaborate with cross functional teams and agency partners in managing effective communication between project team members
    • Ensure projects are resourced effective and efficiently
  • Client Management
    • Build and maintain effective client relationships, ensuring that all client needs are heard, understood, and addressed in a timely manner
    • Provide clear communications to the client regarding roles and responsibilities, scope, budget and schedules for assigned programs
  • Budget Management
    • Develop and manage project budgets
    • Oversee coordination with all internal parties on invoices and vendor payments
    • Reconcile all costs against budgets
    • Support our finance group by ensuring you and your teams are closing out projects in a timely and efficient manner
  • Team Management
    • Demonstrates ability to manage 1+ direct reports
    • Work closely with production leadership to create training and development plans for your team that include annual, biannual, and quarterly goal setting and tracking in performance management system
    • Have regular check-ins with your teams to provide feedback in timely manner   
    • Foster a productive team environment that encourages collaboration and process to ensure all deliverables are meet
    • Provide ongoing mentorship, and training sessions to further grow each individual's career
    • Responsible for ensuring timesheets are completed in a timely manner for all project workstreams whether leading or supervising
    • Interview and hire full time and freelance support to guarantee projects are flawlessly executed within target margin
    • Ensure all team members are on-boarding temporary production staff in accordance with company policy
    • Protect resources on projects accurately utilizing internal and external resources

Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of proven event production experience required
  • Strong project management skills with proven ability to lead teams
  • 1-2 years of management or supervisory experience
  • Experience working on B2B events including upfronts, newfronts, tradeshows, and conferences
  • Client focus with attention to detail, flexibility and accountability for results
  • Leadership and coaching skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Extraordinary organizational skills, self-motivation and intuition
  • Thrive in a fast paced, agency environment
  • Excellent computer proficiency with Microsoft and Apple applications, team project software, and social media sites
  • Thorough understanding of permitting standards (Including but not limited to TPA, Special Event, Fire, Health & Safety, Building & Safety, Noise, etc.) and ability to successfully manage production timelines and needs as related to permit procurement

Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% or more of the time while working remotely and in a standing position 50% or more of the time while working offsite
  • Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Have a valid Driver’s License
  • Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally heavier items
  • Available to work weekends and evenings as needed for events

Location:

We are a hybrid company with hub locations in Los Angeles and New York City. The ideal candidate is located in New York, NY.

Duration: 6 months temporary with opportunity to convert to full-time.

Salary Estimation: [$80,000 - $110,000]

NVE intends to provide a competitive total compensation package which includes a variety of incentives, benefits, growth and developmental opportunities. There are many factors to the presented salary range, including but not limited to - location, departmental budgets, certifications, and overall job-related qualifications.
