Summary of Position:

We are seeking a highly capable and proactive Marketing & Communications Manager to lead marketing efforts for Treehouse Fabrication & Scenic and Cognition Interactive. This role requires an independent, strategic thinker who can develop and execute marketing initiatives, manage work streams efficiently, and take ownership of brand positioning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B marketing, excellent communication skills, and a results-driven mindset.

This role reports to GXG’s Director of Marketing & Communications.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans for Treehouse Fabrication & Scenic and Cognition Interactive, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing initiatives.
  • Campaign Development: Lead the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and corporate product/service launches.
  • Social Media Management: Develop and oversee social media strategies, ensuring engaging and consistent content across Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms. Responsible for copywriting and coordinating asset development.
  • Public Relations & Thought Leadership: Build relationships with industry publications and media contacts to secure press coverage and speaking engagements. Develop editorial and thought leadership strategies to elevate brand presence.
  • Content Creation & Management: Oversee the development and distribution of high-quality marketing materials, including blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, and video content.
  • Awards & Recognition: Execute an awards strategy by coordinating cross-functional efforts to develop applications for industry accolades.
  • Email Marketing: Develop and manage email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and engage with existing clients.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze marketing campaign effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Event Content Capture: Strategize and oversee the process of capturing event content for use in marketing, awards submissions, and social media.
  • SEO & Inbound Marketing: Implement SEO and inbound marketing strategies, leveraging third-party expertise as needed.
  • Brand Messaging: Ensure consistency and clarity in brand messaging across all marketing materials.
  • Marketing Budget: Assist in managing and optimizing the marketing budget to maximize impact.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within an agency setting.
  • Proven experience in B2B marketing and a strong understanding of the experiential marketing industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling marketing content.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, including CRM systems, email marketing software, and analytics tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking capabilities.
  • Experience with SEO and working with third-party marketing partners.
  • Willingness to work extended hours or weekends as needed.

Extra Credit:

  • Experience producing video content.

Location:

  • We are a hybrid company with hub locations in Los Angeles and New York. The ideal candidate is based in any of our hub locations. However, we will consider remote candidates for this role.

Salary Estimation:  [$95K - $125K]

This is an exempt role. GXG intends to provide a competitive total compensation package, including benefits, incentives, and professional development opportunities. Salary is based on location, experience, and job-related qualifications.
