Summary of Position:

The Senior Director, Strategy will report into the SVP, Strategy, leading strategic marketing initiatives for both new and existing clients. This role will primarily focus on technology and/or B2B clients and projects, and will ensure all activations, programs, and campaigns are insight-driven, ownable to the brand, resonate in culture, and are executed at the highest level.

This person must have the ability to develop fully integrated B2C and B2B campaigns, and specifically act as the strategy department’s key Tech/B2B expert. From initial insight to final decks, this person must be able to craft and articulate a strategy into a persuasive story that inspires creative teams, excites our clients, and ultimately drives culture & business success.

This position will have the opportunity to lead strategic initiatives by working cross-functionally to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and advise senior clients on a regular basis. This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role that will require a confident marketer, leader, writer, and speaker with a passion for technology and B2B brands, and a deep fascination with culture and the role brands play within it.

Role Priorities:

  • Strategic lead overseeing select client verticals on a project or retainer basis and assigned new business opportunities
  • Create and present thoughtful and provocative strategies, creative briefs, brand ideas, and experience plans
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to develop breakthrough ideas and strategies for projects and clients
  • Responsible for leading the development of strategic programs, and communicating that vision to internal and external stakeholders
  • Serve as a thought-leader internally and externally, participate in brainstorms, and offer unique brand solutions
  • Ensure the established strategy is consistent and effective through each creative touchpoint in the consumer journey
  • Lead, execute, and grow NVE’s SCG offerings of:
    • Brand Experience Strategy
    • Creative Strategy
    • Culture Strategy
    • Communications Strategy
    • Measurement offerings
  • Mentor and develop strategic talent internally and externally
  • Development, implementation, and optimization of department resources and tools
  • Bring expertise, experience, and a point-of-view in the B2B and Tech category, making our teams sharper and smarter about our client's key audiences, to include their customers and consumers.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8+ years experience in marketing and brand solutions
  • Experience includes brand management or strategy, advertising, content strategy, media, events, digital marketing, PR, and/or hospitality
  • Specific experience in Tech and B2B industries/categories: Ads, AI, Gaming, Crypto & Sports Hospitality
  • Specific experience Tech & B2B focus areas of activation B2B conferences, exhibitions, keynote presentations, hospitality programs and product launches.
  • Specific experience in developing and leading cultural marketing initiatives, integrated campaigns, and connecting brand objectives through the line
  • Specific experience at global B2C and B2B tentpoles such as the Super Bowl, Coachella, CES, SXSW, Art Basel, Cannes, MWC, WEF and/or others
  • Creative problem-solving, and a doer/builder of decks and other documents
  • Ability to think creatively with evidence of success in developing brands and delivering them to market
  • Strong communication skills, an imaginative writer, and enthusiastic presenter with expertise in Google Slide

Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% or more of the time

Location: We are a hybrid company with hub locations in Los Angeles, New York and London. The ideal candidate is in the EST time zone, however, we will consider remote candidates for this role.

Salary Estimation: [$135,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year]

NVE intends to provide a competitive total compensation package which includes a variety of incentives, benefits, growth and developmental opportunities.There are many factors to the presented salary range, including but not limited to - location, departmental budgets, certifications, and overall job-related qualifications.
