Summary of Position:

NVE’s Agency Marketing & Communications department drives visibility and lead gen for the agency through content marketing (social media, blog posts, newsletters, etc.), PR (media relations, press releases, editorial coverage), thought leadership (bylined articles, speaking opportunities), industry awards, and other initiatives and projects. 

NVE is seeking a detail-driven, collaborative and enthusiastic marketing & communications professional who will project manage and execute strategic communications objectives on behalf of NVE.

This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role, that will require a highly organized and confident communicator with an understanding of the agency landscape, excellent writing skills, attention to detail, a knack for social media, strong project management skills, and a passion for the marketing and experiential industries.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Project management across all marketing efforts and initiatives
  • Liaise with project teams to procure assets and information from recent/upcoming events
  • Coordinate content capture, from sourcing and booking photographers/videographers to processing invoices
  • Execute social media strategy, including crafting social media content (with creative support)and engaging with NVE’s audience across channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, etc.)
  • Manage processes for development and publishing/distribution of newsletters, social media content, case studies, website content and key communications
  • Project manage industry award submission process including maintaining Awards Calendar, case film development, drafting and inputting submissions, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables stay within budget
  • Maintain trackers including Content Calendar, Awards Database, Budget Tracker, etc., coordinate with Finance to open purchase orders and route invoices
  • Support thought leadership initiatives and efforts through research, writing/editing, relationship building, and outreach to target organizations and industry event organizers
  • Own reporting process including daily earned media and social media monitoring as well as development of monthly and quarterly reports to measure the success of marketing initiatives (website traffic updates, social media analytics, share of voice, etc.)
  • Accountable for meeting preparation, note-taking, recaps, action items, etc., for departmental meetings
  • Research and explore opportunities for AI and automation tool usage to create more efficient processes and ways of working

Qualifications: 

  • BA/BS degree
  • Minimum 4+ years’ experience in communications, content marketing, and/or social media
  • Agency comms/corporate comms background preferred
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, G-Suite/Google Workplace, and Slack
  • Ability to write effectively, persuasively and professionally for a variety of mediums (social, website, awards, etc.)
  • Experience managing brand/corporate social media channels
  • Strong organization, calendar-keeping, and time management skills
  • Understanding of basic content marketing, SEO, and GEO
  • Battle-tested project manager, capable of handling short timelines and multiple programs simultaneously
  • Basic (or better) graphic design and video editing skills (Photoshop, Canva, CapCut, etc.)
  • Experience managing/updating Wordpress websites
  • Knowledge of social media metrics and ability to analyze the data
  • Experience managing-up and collaborating with senior leaders and executive teams
  • Familiarity with leading AI and automation tools
  • Willingness to work extended hours and on weekends when necessary

Requirements: 

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% or more of the time

Location: We are a hybrid company with hub locations in Los Angeles and New York. The ideal candidate is located in Los Angeles, however, we will consider remote candidates for this role.

Salary Estimation: [$70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year]

This is an exempt full-time position. NVE intends to provide a competitive total compensation package which includes a variety of incentives, benefits, growth and developmental opportunities. There are many factors to the presented salary range, including but not limited to - location, departmental budgets, certifications, and overall job-related qualifications.
