Summary of Position:

At NVE, Client Services exists to drive growth for our clients, our business, and our teams through exceptional partnership, thoughtful counsel and the delivery of premium brand experiences. 

In this role, the Associate Account Director contributes by leading work and beginning to lead teams - guiding integrated experiential programs while helping align cross-functional partners toward successful outcomes. 

We are seeking an Associate Account Director to lead integrated experiential programs and priority workstreams while serving as a client partner across key accounts. This role focuses on leading program execution end-to-end while supporting business growth, financial planning and strong client partnership. 

The Associate Account Director mentors junior team members, helps shape team workflows, and strengthens cross-functional collaboration across programs. This individual contributes to RFP development and organic growth opportunities while continuing to expand their ability to guide teams and support broader account success. 

Role Priorities:

  • Project Management: Project manages large (Tier 1) experiential campaigns, driving operational execution and ensuring alignment across timelines, deliverables, cross-functional coordination, and resourcing. 

  • Project Ownership: Leads mid-size (Tier 2) projects end-to-end, setting direction for project teams and guiding onsite execution.

  • Business Impact: Supports scope creation, starts to identify organic growth opportunities, and continues to expand business and financial acumen across assigned accounts. 

  • Client Relationships: Leads the client relationship at the project level, providing proactive strategic counsel and strengthening junior-to-mid stakeholder trust.

  • New Business & Growth: Supports RFP and proposal development across new and existing opportunities, contributing to pitch materials and strategy, with opportunities to lead smaller or existing client RFPS while ensuring submissions are organized, on timeline, and aligned with project KPIs. 

  • Onsite Management: Leads cross-functional teams onsite for mid-size (Tier 2) projects and may lead large (Tier 1) programs with senior oversight, maintaining strategic alignment during live execution.

  • Financial Management: Owns financial health across assigned projects and retainers, protecting scope integrity, monitoring margin performance, and ensuring accurate forecasting and revenue tracking.

Job Responsibilities:

Client Services

  • Serve as client partner across programs and retainers.
  • Lead recurring client check-ins, project reviews, and executive presentations.
  • Provide proactive experiential recommendations aligned to business goals.
  • Lead development of proposals, scopes of work, and project presentations.
  • Begin developing and owning forward plans to support upcoming initiatives and growth opportunities.
  • Prepare or contribute to monthly business reports and performance updates for key clients. 
  • Develop tailored capability presentations and materials for priority client opportunities. 
  • Ensure all work aligns to defined KPIs and client objectives.
  • Act as onsite account lead during major activations.
  • Oversee post-project analysis and client-facing recaps.

Team Leadership + Development 

  • Guide cross-functional teams across Accounts, Production, Strategy, Creative and Content to ensure strong collaboration and program execution.
  • Mentor and support the development of junior team members (AE and below).
  • Delegate work effectively while maintaining visibility across project progress and team alignment. 
  • Escalate risks or challenges with thoughtful solutions and recommendations. 
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and performance development conversations when applicable. 

Project Leadership

  • Lead experiential programs across mid-size (Tier 2) and project manage large (Tier 1) projects and workstreams. 
  • Maintain visibility across multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Ensure alignment across timelines, resourcing, and key deliverables.
  • Drive quality control across client-facing materials and program outputs. 
  • Ensure post-event reporting captures key insights and performance learnings.
  • Guide project teams onsite and support production leadership during live execution as needed.

Account Team Management

  • Elevate team performance and accountability.
  • Support training initiatives and process implementation.
    Ensure proper delegation and workload balance.
  • Foster a culture of proactive communication and ownership.

Finance & Scope Management

  • Oversee financial health across assigned accounts and programs.
  • Maintain scope integrity and manage scope creep.
  • Partner with Production to align budgets with deliverables.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and margin management.
  • Oversee SOW development and invoicing processes.
  • Flag financial risks or opportunities early.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in account leadership, experiential marketing, integrated campaigns, or agency environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership across large-scale experiential programs, retainers, and Tier 1 workstreams.
  • Proven track record of client leadership, organic account growth, and RFP/pitch contribution or leadership.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-million-dollar client budgets with strong financial acumen and scope oversight.
  • Familiarity with developing integrated campaigns across paid, earned, social, and owned channels.
  • Strong strategic thinker with sound decision-making capability and ability to connect experiential work to business impact.
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills with executive presence and confident communication (verbal and written).
  • Ability to write clearly, persuasively, and professionally for client-facing materials.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop junior team members while leading cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized, process-oriented, and adaptable in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure and during live program execution.
  • Willingness to travel, work extended hours, and support onsite production when required.
  • Demonstrated ability to weave brands into culture and deliver culturally relevant experiences.

Requirements: 

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% or more of the time.

Location: We are a hybrid company with hub locations in Los Angeles and New York. The ideal candidate is located in any of our hub locations.

Salary Estimation: [$100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year]

This is an exempt full-time position. NVE intends to provide a competitive total compensation package which includes a variety of incentives, benefits, growth and developmental opportunities. There are many factors to the presented salary range, including but not limited to - location, departmental budgets, certifications, and overall job-related qualifications.
