The Stewardship Coordinator will support the fundraising initiatives to cultivate major gifts and secure grants. Our ideal candidate will have a writing background, preferably in a non-profit healthcare sector. The Stewardship Coordinator is a 24 hour per week position, working 3 days per week.
What will you be doing:
- Coordinate quarterly donor gift reports.
- Working with Senior VP Advancement, Director of Development providing strategic guidance on effective communications outlining the mission and campaign priorities.
- Develops a template of materials for cultivation visits. Solicitations, and follow up.
- Develops and writes speeches for CEO and Board leadership.
- Create corresponding campaign materials to focus on fundraising priorities.
- Support frontline fundraising team with strategic content to engage and close gifts at varying levels.
- Collaborating with clinical management team leaders to develop talking points and materials that align with donor interests and priorities.
- Become a content expert on our delivery of care and translate that for donor communication.
- Research for donor history to prepare officers for upcoming meetings.
- Maintain up to date mission statistics and data points outlining key metrics for organization’s operations.
- Collaborate with Strategic Communications Specialist to understand shifting priorities for external relations.
What we’re looking for in you:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3-5 years relevant experience
- Preferred experience in non-profit writing or similar aligned writing
- Strong attention to detail
- Interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
- Familiarity with navigating databases
- Ability to work in office autonomously
- Available for 24-hour, in office 3-day weekly schedule
