We are looking for a kind and energetic, welcoming HR Administrator.
As an HR Administrator, you will provide administrative support in all functional areas of the Human Resource Department including, recruitment support, personnel records, HRIS maintenance, reception duties and engagement coordination.
What will you be doing:
- Maintains employee records in the HRIS/ADP system and make sure all informative is communicated to payroll timely.
- Participate in a new employee orientation, as requested.
- Assists in the compliance of DPH and JCAHO standards by ensuring that the appropriate documentation is maintained in the employees’ personnel records and employees’ health files.
- Assists with the recruitment process for new staff, i.e., scheduling interviews, setting up orientation materials, conducting background checks, reference checks, plus onboarding and Orientation.
- Compiles the necessary data for the annual EEOC and OSHA reports as well as the HCA Salary survey.
- Responds to employee inquiries in a high manner, timely and accurate manner, processes verifications of employment requests and assistance with other employee related matters.
- Represent the HR Dept. on various committees and associations within the agency and the community, as requested.
- Works in office 9 a.m. -5:30 p.m., M-F and acts as first point of contact specifically for employees impacted by a policy change.
- Performs general office tasks, like filing, ordering supplies, lunches, coordination support for employee engagement activities, monitors HR inbox and calendaring for team members.
- Escalate issues to proper HR subject area staff members.
What we’re looking for in you:
- Associates or bachelor’s in human resource management or years of business equivalent experience.
- 1 + years of Human Resource experience in health setting preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent computer skills, ADP, Green House (HRIS, Microsoft Office)
- Strong problem-solving, communication and interpretive skills
- Ability to work independently and create relationships
- Excellent organizational, written and time management skills
- Knowledge of human resource functions
- Desire to provide empathy and a consultative ear
- Work in office Mon.-Fri., 9a-5:30p
