Department Overview:

The Capital Program department is responsible for the design and construction of a wide variety of projects throughout New York City.  Department staff consists of professional engineers, architects, landscape architects, and city planners. Project types include waterfront development, buildings, major infrastructure, resiliency and public open spaces.  

Ideal Candidate Profile:

We’re looking for motivated professionals with a strong command of design and construction processes, ideally with experience in municipal or capital projects. Successful candidates will demonstrate deep process proficiency, applying best practices to drive project efficiency, and consistently improve outcomes. We value individuals who take the initiative in refining workflows, standardizing procedures, and contributing to the overall success of multidisciplinary project teams.
