Department Overview:

NYCEDC’s Management Information Systems (MIS) department seeks to align information systems & technology with the goals and objectives of the organization, dispenses technical services, and contributes to the strategic direction of NYCEDC. The department does this by keeping the infrastructure and environment in-step with technology and by integrating people, processes and tools while working with internal staff and external agencies to constantly promote collaboration and improve efficiency. 

Ideal Candidate Profile:

You’re a technically skilled, service-oriented professional who enjoys building practical solutions that help people work smarter. You’re someone who understands how to recommend, implement, and maintain information systems that align with IT best practices, data governance standards, and evolving business needs. 

You have experience managing technology projects of varying sizes and complexities- from planning and execution to monitoring and delivery. You’re comfortable navigating the full project lifecycle and coordinating across teams to ensure outcomes align with the IT group’s goals. At your core, you’re a service-driven individual. You take pride in providing reliable, responsive support to users across the organization, and you approach every request or issue with a mindset of curiosity, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
