Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Reporting Manager to join our dynamic team. The Reporting Manager will be responsible for managing the financial records of the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and the timely preparation of financial statements. This role will require a deep understanding of accounting principles, as well as the ability to analyze and interpret financial data to support decision-making.

This role requires a proactive and hands-on individual, with the flexibility to work extended hours and weekends when required to meet critical business deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• General Ledger Maintenance: Oversee the management of the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments are accurate and complete.
• Account Reconciliation: Review monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Audit Support: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to audit queries.
• Month-End/Year-End Close: Manage and ensure the timely and accurate completion of the month-end and year-end close process.
• Cost Accounting: Provide insight into cost accounting and support decision-making processes related to cost control and profitability analysis.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing variances between actual and budgeted performance.
• Compliance and Controls: Ensure all financial activities comply with company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Team Mentorship: Mentor and provide guidance to reporting team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
• CA certification (preferred).
• 6-8 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proactive self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong accountability to deliver on time, with high quality

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience with financial reporting for public or private companies.
• Experience working in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
