JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to oversee and manage our IT projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within scope and timeline. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing resources, and ensuring project objectives are met. The IT Project Manager will also identify and mitigate risks, provide regular updates to stakeholders in US, and ensure adherence to industry best practices. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial & Business Analysis: Translate business requirements from Finance and Operations into detailed technical specifications for projects focused on financial data processing, reporting automation, and business intelligence.
- Project Leadership: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of MIS projects, from solution design and vendor evaluation to implementation, testing, and deployment within our cloud environment.
- Data Systems Integration: Oversee projects involving the integration and optimization of our core ERP with data platforms like Snowflake and cloud services on AWS and Google Cloud.
- Financial Reporting Enhancement: Drive initiatives to build and refine automated financial reports and interactive dashboards using Tableau, ensuring data accuracy and providing actionable insights for business leaders.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Coordinate with internal data engineering, MIS teams, and external vendors to ensure project milestones are met on time and within scope.
- Risk Management & Documentation: Proactively identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for all system designs and process flows.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of project management experience in an MIS, IT, or data-centric role.
- Good understanding of core finance and accounting processes (e.g., General Ledger, AP/AR, financial closing, and reporting).
- Proven experience managing projects involving ERP systems and financial data processing.
- Excellent analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- Data Warehousing: Direct experience with cloud data warehouse solutions like Snowflake and MS-SQL.
- Business Intelligence: Strong proficiency in data visualization and reporting using Tableau or similar tools.
- Enterprise Systems: Familiarity with manufacturing operations systems, AWS data services (e.g., Glue, Athena), or similar enterprise platforms.
- Process Automation: Experience with workflow automation tools (e.g., n8n) and an interest in AI/ML applications is a significant plus.
