Position Title: Project Manager (Level I or II)

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator/Engineer to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the successful planning and execution of electrical projects.
Salary Range: PM I: $141,000.00 - $148,000.00 PM II: $151,000.00 - $159,000.00
Location: Onsite (Los Angeles, CA)

Position: Project Manager (Level I or II)
Candidates are required to have at least 5 years (PM I) or 10 years (PM II) of progressive experience in managing municipal infrastructure projects through planning, design, jurisdictional approvals, environmental permitting, construction, and close-out.
Candidates must possess the following:
- Minimum 5 years (PM I Level) or 10 years (PM II) of project management and concurrent field construction experience.
- Licensed professional (or demonstrate the ability to obtain license within 6 months of hiring) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
- Education background in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Work experience in project planning and development.
- Ability to independently manage all aspects of a project.
- Ability to develop and control project scope.
- Ability to develop and maintain project budgets.
- Ability to develop and review project schedules.
- Skill in reviewing and coordinating the preparation of construction documents.
- Ability to effectively facilitate project team and client meetings.
- Ability to effectively negotiate and prepare change orders.
- Ability to effectively monitor and coordinate construction activities with the various project stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt and respond effectively to project issues and challenges.
- Ability to set and manage project expectations.
- Must be knowledgeable in CEQA/NEPA.
- Experience in infrastructure projects such as stormwater quality, diversion, and drainage projects.
- Experience in transportation infrastructure projects such as airports, roadways, bikeways, pedestrian walkways, and bridge projects.
Experience in the following is desirable:
- Design-Bid-Build (DBB), Job Order Contracting (JOC), Progressive Design-Build (PDB), Deferred Maintenance/Refurbishment projects, and Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) project deliveries
- Knowledge of Envision
- Knowledge of Public Contracting Code and familiarity with County practices
- Knowledge of Greenbook and CSI
- Knowledge of CEQA
- Experience with scheduling software using P6 and/or Microsoft Project Online
