Position Title: CONSTRUCTION LOGISTICS SPECIALIST III

Salary Range: $137,000 - $143,000

Location: Onsite (Los Angeles, CA)

Position Description
The Construction Logistical Specialist is responsible for maintaining the CALM processes and work 
flows to ensure that communication is maintained to all project teams and stakeholders with 
accurate and timely data as it pertains to each activity. The Construction Logistical Specialist 
will work with the CALM Team and will be responsible for preparing and distributing materials 
relating to workshops and meetings, activities and project coordination.  This effort includes 
tracking requests from beginning to end, meeting minutes, coordinating meetings and streamlining 
processes.

Essential Job Duties
• Receive and process new, revised, and updated forms for signatures
• Distribute completed forms to Internal and External contacts
• Maintain and update agendas with new/revised information such as dates and permits, including 
expired permit dates
• Coordinate Stakeholder reviews and approvals
• Maintain and update information to include all new, revised and updated activities
• Prepare and update agendas for each weekly workshop
• Assist in managing CALM processes
• Supports Airport-wide program administration
• Dashboard updates and reporting responsibilities
• Coordinates training and contractor onboarding
• Coordinate with City agencies and provide information to assist in the permit process
• Request concurrence from LAWA subject matter experts and notify outside contractors of 
concurrence and any restrictions
• Track and document concurrence requests and distribute notification of the upcoming 
project(s)
• Various duties as assigned such as presentation preparation, collecting and organizing 
information to be used for deliverables and assisting in tracking the daily deployment of
multiple construction projects

Professional Experience Level/Other Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree and 15 years of professional experience; graduate degree may substitute for one 
year of experience
• Problem solver with a strong ability to prioritize and switch gears in a fast-paced 
environment
• Experience working within the complexities of multiple agencies at all levels
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
• Good presentation skills
• Geared to share information and communicate with team members
• A general understanding of civil construction

Hardware/Software Knowledge

• Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher, Access and PowerPoint)
• Adobe Illustrator
• Bluebeam
• Ability to create dashboards, presentations, graphics, Gantt charts and track multiple ongoing 
activities

Education/Training
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, aviation, business, engineering, construction management, 
planning or other related technical field required. Master’s degree preferred.
• Relevant professional licensure &/or certifications are strongly preferred. Certifications may 
include AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, etc.
