Across nine countries that together are home to two-thirds of Africa's farmers, we provide high-quality farm supplies, tree seedlings, accessible credit, modern agronomic training, and a wide range of other agricultural services. About the Role
Are you energized by closing deals, building meaningful client relationships, and in global food systems? As our Global Sales Officer, you'll part of One Acre Fund's market expansion, focusing on Eastern Africa and select international regions.
This is a hybrid role, with regular in-person work and travel required across Kenya and other main markets. You will report to the Global Head of Sales and collaborate across global and local teams.
You'll take charge of the full sales cycle—from generating leads and converting prospects to managing accounts and supporting long-term growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop sales strategies to achieve revenue growth targets across multiple regions and countries.
- Build relationships with important decision-makers at major global accounts.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with teams to develop and launch new products and services.
- Manage and optimize sales performance metrics, including sales forecasting and pipeline management.

Qualifications
Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:
- 2+ years of experience in sales, with experience in driving revenue growth.
- Understanding of international business practices, laws, and regulations.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, including international travel.
- Fluency in multiple languages, including English.
- Experience with CRM software and sales automation tools.
