About the Role
The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately and efficiently entering factory data into Google Sheets and supports the admin team to maintain organised records. The role supports production, quality, hygiene, and warehouse teams by ensuring all factory data is recorded correctly and on time to support reporting, compliance, and daily operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that all departments have reliable, up-to-date information to support data-driven decision-making and operational planning.
Responsibilities
Data Entry
- Enter daily factory data into Google Sheets, including:
- Production records
- Inventory and stock movement
- Quality and hygiene logs
- Waste and attendance records
- Ensure data is entered accurately and on time.
Record Keeping
- Maintain organised digital and physical records.
- File production sheets, checklists, and forms correctly.
- Ensure all records are dated, complete, and easy to retrieve.
Data Accuracy
- Check data for missing information or errors.
- Report any unclear or incorrect data to the supervisor for guidance.
- Update records only after confirmation.
Reporting Support
- Prepare simple daily or weekly summaries when requested.
- Share reports with supervisors or managers as instructed.
Coordination
- Collect data from production, quality, hygiene, and warehouse teams.
- Follow the instructions on which data to enter and when, and QC against all data entry.
Compliance & Safety
- Follow all Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) rules.
- Handle food safety and factory data carefully and confidentially.
- Support audits by providing records when asked.

Qualifications
Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:
- At least 1 year of experience in data entry and basic administration.
- Basic knowledge of Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work accurately and follow instructions.
- Good organisation and attention to detail.
- Basic communication skills and the ability to work with a team.
- Willingness to work in a factory environment.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Time management: Ensures you have adequate time to complete your tasks.
