About the Role

The Procurement Senior Coordinator ensures high-quality Solar & Non-Ag Farmer inputs are purchased in a cost-efficient, market-competitive & compliant manner and are delivered on time every time through execution excellence.

Responsibilities

Procurement Excellence

  • Drive execution excellence by achieving +90% OTIF and market-competitive COGS, securing +5% cost savings while guaranteeing quality control, maintaining >80% timely Open PO closure, and ensuring +80% on-time payments across all OAF countries of operation.
  • Drive execution excellence by coordinating taxes, duties, clearances, and freight to effectively mitigate operational risks and ensure deliveries are on time, every time.
  • Execute the procurement strategy for Solar and Non-ag products.
  • Use proactive risk mitigation, retroactive root cause analysis, and effective communication to implement action plans that address any gaps in service or execution to farmers and teams now and in the future.
  • Drive execution excellence by implementing effective negotiations, strategic purchasing frameworks, and world-class contracts that guarantee favorable payment terms and procurement flexibility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality goods at the best possible value for our teams.
  • Ensure quality control standards are maintained throughout the procurement process to ensure no quality issues reach farmers or our teams for goods purchased
  • Coordinate input deliveries to OAF warehouses and ensure correct and compliant documentation is in place.

Supplier Management

  • Build and maintain valuable relationships with upstream suppliers in the value chain of the goods and services we source.
  • Professionally represent OAF with external suppliers and stakeholders at external meetings
  • Collaborate with suppliers to fuel continuous supplier performance improvement
  • Monitor and report supplier performance to internal stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to achieve better supplier relationship management

Customer Service

  • Deliver world-class customer service to stakeholders by ensuring quality procurement service delivery, and proactively and professionally communicating the status of their orders and payments at all times
  • Address inquiries and resolve issues related to procurement orders and payments.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to achieve better customer service

Product Improvement

  • Establish and refine procurement workflows in partnership with key stakeholders to guarantee the consistent acquisition and timely delivery of high-quality inputs and materials.
  • Conduct extensive market research as needed to identify and recommend/adopt optimal sourcing options and regularly propose new trial products or substitute goods to client portfolios.
