Summer 2028 Internship Interest Form

Interested in learning more about a career in credit investing or investor relations?

Oak Hill Advisors (OHA) is seeking students graduating in Spring 2029 who are interested in exploring our Summer 2028 Internship Program. This 10-week program provides hands-on experience, meaningful responsibilities, and direct exposure to investment professionals and senior leaders at one of the world's leading alternative credit investment firms. The tentative dates for the program are June 2nd - August 8th, 2028. 

Program Overview

Our internship program begins with one week of intensive financial training delivered by Training the Street, designed to build a strong foundation in accounting, credit, valuation, and financial markets. Following training, interns spend nine weeks embedded within their assigned team, working alongside investment and business professionals on real projects and initiatives.

Throughout the summer, interns participate in:

  • Technical and market-focused learning sessions
  • Educational programming
  • Speaker series and Q&A sessions with senior leaders
  • Networking opportunities across the organization
  • Volunteer events, social activities, and team-building experiences

Whether you are new to credit investing or already exploring a career in finance, our internship program is designed to provide meaningful exposure to the industry and accelerate your professional development.

Internship Opportunities

U.S. Credit Investing

Interns on the U.S. Credit team are assigned an industry vertical and gain exposure to investment opportunities across the credit spectrum, including:

  • Private Credit
  • Distressed Investing
  • High Yield
  • Leveraged Loans
  • Structured and Opportunistic Credit

Working alongside experienced investors, interns help evaluate companies, industries, and investment opportunities while developing an understanding of how investment decisions are made within a leading alternative credit platform.

Investor Relations

Investor Relations interns work as generalists across the firm's investment strategies and products. Interns support a variety of projects and gain exposure to:

  • Fundraising initiatives
  • Investor communications
  • Market and portfolio reporting
  • Competitive intelligence
  • Strategic projects supporting the growth of the business

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop a broad understanding of alternative asset management while working closely with professionals across the firm.

New York Base Salary Range

$110,000 - $110,000 USD
