Director, Revenue Cycle Management

Remote

Who You Are

You are a seasoned revenue cycle leader who has seen the full picture, from a single denied claim to a multi-practice P&L and knows how to manage both. You bring deep expertise across coding, billing, AR, payor contracts, and credentialing, and you’re just as comfortable presenting financial results to a client as you are digging into a payor dispute or troubleshooting a billing workflow. You’re self-directed and thrive in a remote environment. You know how to prioritize when everything feels urgent, manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously, and still deliver accurate, timely results. You communicate clearly, with clients, coders, and executives alike, and know how to translate complex billing and financial information into something a practice owner can act on.

You take compliance seriously because you understand the stakes, and while you’re driven by the numbers, you never lose sight of what’s behind them - the providers we support, the patients they serve, and the practices we’re helping to sustain.

If you’re looking for a role where you can own something meaningful and make a real difference for primary care - we’d love to meet you.

Who We Are

Oasis Health Partners (Oasis) is building healthier communities by advancing primary care. We partner with patients, providers, and plans to provide personalized, local care for seniors in towns across America. We believe that patient needs come first, and that primary care is the foundation of patient-centric healthcare. With Oasis, patients receive better access and care. Providers receive the data, resources, and expertise to be successful in value-based care arrangements. Payors get the benefit of a solution that improves performance, drives growth, and reduces the total cost of care in hard-to-engage markets.

Together, we will boldly advance primary care for those that need it most. We are excited for you to join us on this journey. We invite you to be a part of Oasis, where you will discover we listen first, do the right thing, build things together and go all in --- while having fun!

Your Role

Oasis is building a strong, scalable Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) offering to support independent and community-based primary care practices. As Director of Revenue Cycle Management, you will own the full revenue cycle function for our MSO clients - from coding and claim submission through payment posting, denials management, and AR follow-up - while serving as a senior, trusted partner to the practices we support.

You will lead a large, distributed team of coders and billing staff, oversee coding quality and compliance, and manage payor relationships, contracts, and credentialing across a multi-client portfolio. You will also be the face of our RCM function to clients - delivering monthly financial results, identifying opportunities, and solving problems before they become bigger ones.

This is a high-ownership role in a growing organization. You will have real influence over how our RCM function operates and evolves, and your work will directly impact the financial health of the practices - and the patients - that depend on us.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Cycle Leadership

  • Direct all revenue cycle functions for MSO clients, including charge capture, coding, claim submission, payment posting, denials management, and accounts receivable follow-up.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs such as days in A/R, clean claim rate, denial rate, net collection rate, and first-pass resolution, and report results to leadership and clients.
  • Identify revenue leakage and implement process improvements that raise collections and reduce write-offs.

Financial Reporting and Practice Performance

  • Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports to each client practice, covering charges, collections, adjustments, denials, A/R aging, and payor mix.
  • Report on overall practice financial outcomes, including revenue trends, provider productivity, and performance against budgets and benchmarks.
  • Analyze results to find variances and opportunities, and present findings and recommendations to clients and Oasis Health leadership.
  • Ensure reporting is accurate, timely, and consistent across all clients.

Coding Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a large team of coders and billing staff, including remote and distributed team members.
  • Oversee coding quality through regular audits, education, and feedback to ensure accuracy and compliance with CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and payor-specific guidelines.
  • Set productivity and accuracy standards, manage workloads, and build training programs.

Payor Contracts and Credentialing

  • Review and interpret payor contracts and fee schedules and identify underpayments and reimbursement opportunities.
  • Support or oversee provider enrollment and credentialing, keeping all clients and providers current with payors.
  • Serve as the escalation point for payor disputes, appeals, and reimbursement issues.

Client Relations

  • Act as a senior point of contact for client practices, reviewing monthly financial results and recommendations through video and phone meetings and resolving concerns.
  • Support client onboarding and transitions, including workflow design and system setup.

Systems and Projects

  • Use EMR and practice management systems, particularly athenahealth and eClinicalWorks (eCW), to optimize workflows, reporting, and billing configuration.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, such as client implementations, system conversions, and process improvement initiatives, from planning through delivery.

Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA, CMS, and payer regulations, including secure handling of PHI in a remote environment, and support internal and external audits.

Investment In Our Team

We invest in the personal and professional success of our team. We take care of our people and offer robust benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and generous time off plans. We are committed to supporting your growth with a development program that starts with onboarding and continues throughout your career. As an inclusive, passionate, and diverse team, you will partner with professionals who understand the importance of high-value, high-impact patient care.
