Job Description:

Overview: We are looking for an experienced Regional Community Manager to join our team and grow the Oasis Network community across Asia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community management, a deep understanding of the Asian market, and a passion for blockchain technology. You will be responsible for coordinating local meetups, events, and conferences, as well as engaging with community members both online and offline.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Community Engagement and Growth:
    • Develop and execute a strategy to expand Oasis Network’s reach and engagement in the Asia region.
    • Foster and grow a vibrant community of Oasis Network users, developers, and enthusiasts.
    • Engage with the community through various platforms, including social media, forums, and local events.
  2. Event Coordination:
    • Plan, coordinate, and host local meetups, events, and workshops.
    • Represent Oasis Network at regional conferences and organize community participation.
    • Collaborate with local partners to maximize event impact.
  3. Content Creation and Communication:
    • Create and curate content tailored to the Asian community, including blog posts, newsletters, and social media updates.
    • Facilitate discussions and provide support across community platforms.
  4. Platform Management:
    • Utilize community management platforms such as Galxe, Guild, and Zealy to streamline operations.
    • Manage team collaboration tools like Clickup, Monday, and Notion for efficient project management.
    • Maintain organization and communication through Google Workspace.
  5. Strategy and Reporting:
    • Develop and implement strategies to drive community growth and engagement.
    • Monitor and analyze community metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
    • Provide regular reports on community activities, trends, and feedback to the global team.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in community management, particularly within the blockchain or technology sectors.
  • Deep understanding of the cultural and market dynamics of the Asian region.
  • Strong organizational and event planning skills.
  • Proficiency in using community management platforms (Galxe, Guild, Zealy) and team management tools (Clickup, Monday, Notion).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and at least one major Asian language.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
  • Passion for blockchain technology and the mission of Oasis Network.

This is a full-time role that will be paid in USDT OR USDC cryptocurrency

The role can be based anywhere with flexible and remote work options. There is a preference for candidates who can work to Asia time zones.

Community team:

  1. Engaging with the community: The community team is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the Oasis Protocol community, which includes developers, users, and other stakeholders.
  2. Creating and managing community channels: The team creates and manages channels like social media, forums, and chat groups where community members can interact with one another and receive updates from the team.
  3. Providing support: The community team may also provide technical support to community members who are building on the platform or using its features.
  4. Gathering feedback: The team gathers feedback from the community to identify pain points and opportunities to improve the platform.
