Implementation Specialist

Obligo is looking for an exceptional team member to join as our Implementation Specialist. The Implementation Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of Obligo products within our most complex and strategically important partner accounts. Successful implementations are critical to establish value and seed growth with Obligo partners. The Implementation Specialist is a dynamic role that will work closely across several teams/departments, including Sales, Business Development, Customer Success, Product, and Research and Development. This role will require a unique blend of technical, project planning/organizational, analytical, and interpersonal/communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Become the company expert in our product suite, configuration space, and how to implement new instances of our solution
  • Be the point person for onboarding of client partners, focused on technical components designed to ensure customer success 
  • Configure our solutions to fit customer needs by using flagging and content management systems
  • Advise senior stakeholders within partners accounts on Obligo best practices and potential changes to their business processes to maximize the value and user experience with Obligo products
  • Work closely with our go to market team for all product technical questions 
  • Assist the Sales team during the sales process to analyze partner use cases and advise on solutions/potential implementation timelines
  • Interface closely with our Research and Development team to ensure successful project implementations of Obligo products
  • Establish a repeatable framework for partner implementation and delivery
  • Maintain a repository of best practices and solutions for partner implementations across a variety of Obligo products, partner types, tech stacks, and use cases
  • Become a expert in leading Property Management and Leasing software (such as Yardi, MRI, Entrata, Appfolio, Buildium and more) and how those systems interact with Obligo products
  • Recommend new product features and associated detailed requirements

Requirements

  • 5+ years as a solution engineer or comparable customer facing technical role in a SaaS software company which requires bespoke integrations to customer systems.
  • Experience with software in area of accounting, AP, AR, billing or collection: a strong advantage
  • Experience with implementing or integrating with  property management softwares ideal
  • Familiarity with the real estate software industry and/or accounting principles a plus
  • Highly organized with a problem-solving mindset
  • A willingness to experiment, make mistakes and learn
  • Must reside (or plan to reside) in NYC metro area
