TechOps (IT) is our first line of technical support, available both in the office and to remote workers 24/7/365. The TechOps Manager is key to maintaining strong relationships between Ocrolus employees and stakeholders and to ensuring service uptime and continuous availability. TechOps Manager is responsible for managing projects and delivering results under tight constraints. We expect our TechOps Manager to have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and technology, and to be able to work with various business functions.
What you'll do:
- Managing a wide variety of TechOps systems and infrastructure, including PXE servers, proxies, OS deployment, CCTV systems, and physical access control.
- Hands-on triage and technical support for Windows, Linux, and macOS devices.
- Implementing, managing, and supporting network infrastructure, including UniFi routers, switches, access points, and firewalls.
- Monitor and troubleshoot the organization's systems, networks, and applications to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical issues, incidents, and outages to minimize downtime and ensure a seamless user experience.
- Perform system administration tasks, including server configuration, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Conduct IT security audits and implement appropriate measures to protect the organization's infrastructure and data.
- Develop the documentation, including system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Provide technical expertise, mentoring, and overseeing of assigned work for TechOps team members.
- Use team resources to accomplish higher-level objectives assigned by TechOps management.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Who we're looking for:
- Proven experience of 15+ years as an IT Engineer in a managerial position or similar role.
- Minimum team management experience of 5 years.
- Experience in Mac OS, Windows, and Linux operating systems (imaging, patch management, troubleshooting, etc.)
- Experience in Mobile Device Management tools (Jumpcloud is a plus),
- Experience in the Administration and management of Jira, Google Workspace, Slack, and other commonly used Enterprise SaaS applications.
- Experience in Single Sign-On for corporate SaaS applications.
- Experience or Knowledge of Squid proxy, PXE, scripting, and automation
- Experience in Project management, documentation, and asset management.
- Strong knowledge of systems administration, networking, and UniFi infrastructure management of UniFi devices.
- Understanding of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
- Understanding and knowledge of CCTV and Biometrics
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Willing to work in shifts & travel to Noida/Gurgaon office
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) is a plus
- Self-starter, team player, Curious, willing to learn, and manage from the front
