The Role

We are seeking an Account Specialist to support the dealer (sell side) client base on our growing electronic trading and data analytics platform for Loans and CLOs. This is a high-impact, growth-oriented role where you will assist in deepening dealer engagement, improving operational touchpoints, and supporting strategic initiatives in partnership with senior sales and product teams.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career (0–2 years’ experience) who is eager to learn, grow, and make a difference in capital markets technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement Support:
Assist senior team members in managing relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 dealers, daily virtual communication with clients, respond to new inquiries, and help grow usage of Octaura’s platform and analytics tools.
  • Sales Enablement & Materials:
Help prepare sales decks, demo materials, Quarterly Business Reviews, and custom reporting for dealer accounts. Run weekly platform stats and ad hoc analysis for client meetings.
  • Onboarding Support:
Coordinate onboarding processes for new dealers, especially in the CLO and loan markets. Conduct demos for different stakeholder teams and follow up with unresponsive contacts to ensure momentum.
  • Data, Analytics & Reporting:
Track dealer engagement, maintain quarterly OKRs, and help build internal reporting using tools like HubSpot and Power BI. Log meeting notes and updates into CRM.
  • Meeting Participation:
Join client meetings and calls, take notes, support follow-ups, and contribute to analysis or action items that emerge from discussions.
  • Event & Conference Coordination:
Assist with planning and attending dealer events, conferences, and client entertainment opportunities, particularly for Tier 3 and Tier 4 dealers.
  • Product Collaboration:
Gather and relay client feedback to the product team, help shape enhancements, and stay involved in prioritization and implementation of new features.
  • Market Knowledge:
Stay current with Octaura platform updates, market developments, and industry news to contribute meaningfully to client discussions.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 0–2 years of experience in sales, account management, operations, or client service (preferably within FinTech, financial markets, or enterprise SaaS)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Eagerness to learn and take ownership of tasks
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal, Excel, PowerPoint, HubSpot, and/or Power BI is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, or related field
