We’re looking for an IT Manager with a passion for security to build, configure and improve our IT systems and processes. You will be instrumental in defining and delivering our IT & security strategy from the ground up.

The Role and Opportunity 

This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious IT Manager to accelerate your development taking a broad and varied role, within a rapidly growing company.

What You’ll Do

• Own the essentials: Identity management, device management (MDM), endpoint protection, vulnerability scanning, and cloud security guardrails.
• Hands-on support for Google Workspace
• Security hands-on: Configure tools, manage incidents, and partner with engineers and IT to keep our environment secure.
• Develop security baselines: Ensure every component of our core infrastructure has documented standards for configuration, monitoring, and access.
• Policy & practice: Support the draft of pragmatic policies and procedures, but also help teams put them into practice without slowing delivery.
• Build a culture of security: Train, coach, and enable colleagues to take ownership of security in their daily work.
• Plan for growth: Support the risk and technology teams with security as the business grows, including vendor management, compliance readiness (ISO 27001, FCA expectations), and future team building.

About You

You would be a great fit for this role if you have experience with / in:

• Experience in manually administrating IT platforms in a small to medium-sized financial business or business with regulator oversight.
• Experience being the sole IT person or member of a very small IT team.
• Experience with endpoint management, and either Google Workspace or Office365.
• A deep interest in InfoSec/Security and a willingness to develop your InfoSec knowledge and experience (familiarity with security frameworks would help)
• Comfortable being both strategic and hands-on: you can define frameworks but also configure a SIEM or troubleshoot IAM policies.
• Strong collaborator: able to work with engineers, risk, DevOps, and leadership to balance speed, quality, and security.
• Excited by building things in a growing company—comfortable with ambiguity, proactive, and keen to have real impact.
• A genuine desire to help people and improve their lives, aligning with our mission-driven business.
  
  

In return for your contribution we offer a base salary of £60k - £75k DOE + benefits

We currently operate a hybrid model which is a mix of office and remote. You'll have the option of working from home 2 days per week (Monday and Friday) with the remainder from our central London office in Holborn.
