Role

  • Analyze, evaluate, and extract business and financial data of public and private company financial reports and organize/structure it within the FinDox Analytics platform. 
  • Prepare and present detailed financial models (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Capital Structure, Relative Performance metrics, and Ratio Analysis).
  • Monitor and review receipt of financial data feeds from third-party vendors.
  • Calculate, analyze, and summarize companies’ capitalization information for valuation and investment purposes.
  • Utilize Excel to generate flash earnings reports, enabling the timely communication of financial performance to clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct primary deal and credit analysis.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Business, Management, or related field, plus one (1) year of professional experience in any role/occupation/position.
  • Experience must include: Conducting financial reporting and analysis, financial modeling, and valuation, including three statement financial modeling, discounted cashflows, and multiples
  • Conducting financial and ratio analysis
  • Conducting comprehensive credit and investment research and analysis
  • Assessing key risks, conducting sensitivity analysis, and ensuring due diligence; and Running forecasting models and delivering detailed report.
  • Telecommuting is permitted 1 day per week within normal commuting distance

As a result, compensation may vary within and across similar roles and positions. Please note that the salary range information below is a good faith estimate for this position, and actual compensation for any individual may fall outside this range if warranted by the circumstances applicable to that individual. If we identify a role that would be suitable for a broader range of skills and experience such that we would consider hiring at multiple levels then the range listed below may reflect that breadth.

The salary range estimate for this position is $71,635 - $77,000. 

The actual compensation will be at Octus’ sole discretion and will be determined by the aforementioned and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
