Role
The Operations Associate (Covenants) will join Octus’s Global Covenants team and be based in the Bogotá office with remote work flexibility. This role supports the operational delivery of covenant analysis and data to Octus clients globally.
The position is ideal for a recent graduate who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and interested in gaining exposure to financial services, legal documentation, and global credit markets while working with international teams.
The associate will play an important role in coordinating client queries, managing internal workflows, and supporting the team’s operational processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage and track client queries related to covenant analysis, ensuring requests are properly logged and routed to the appropriate teams
- Monitor and follow up on the status of requests across multiple Octus teams to ensure timely responses
- Maintain accurate internal reporting and documentation related to client queries and workflow processes
- Ensure strict adherence to compliance procedures related to confidential and private financial documents
- Coordinate with the commercial team to support high-quality client service
- Liaise with offshore data teams as well as London and US colleagues on workflow and operational initiatives
- Monitor fixed income and credit market deal flow and organize related documentation
- Support legal analysts, credit analysts, and journalists with operational and administrative tasks related to editorial content and data projects
- Assist with operational projects and process improvements within the Covenants team
Requirements
- University degree
- Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English, both written and verbal
- Interest in financial services, legal documentation, or financial data
- Proactive and collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with spreadsheets and managing data is preferred
