About Odin

Odin Labs, Inc. ("Odin") is the workforce visibility and compliance platform powering the next generation of infrastructure. As demand accelerates for AI data centers, clean energy projects, and large-scale construction, Odin provides the operational backbone for real-time workforce tracking, credential verification, site access, and compliance management. We experienced more than 7x revenue growth from 2024 to 2025, and 2026 has already surpassed 2025 growth.

Odin's growth is driven by rapid expansion and adoption of our software platform across complex, high-compliance construction environments. As we continue to see strong market momentum and growth in complex construction programs, Odin is preparing for its next stage of scale.

About The Role:

We’re hiring a Field Implementation Engineer to deploy Odin’s platform on job sites across the country and help shape the hardware we deploy next. You’ll install, configure, and validate Odin’s hardware and software alongside general contractors, integrators, and site teams. Between deployments, you’ll work with Engineering to lead custom builds and R&D across edge compute, power management, and network configuration. This is a hands-on, field-first role with 50 to 70% travel. If you like solving problems on active job sites with real constraints, it’s the right fit.

What You Will Do:

  • Deploy and decommission. Install, configure, and validate Odin’s hardware (badge readers, cameras, turnstiles, edge compute, power, and network equipment) and platform at each site, and decommission it when the job is done.
  • Lead custom builds and R&D. Design and test custom edge compute, power management, and network configurations for sites outside our standard kit, and turn what works into repeatable standards.
  • Partner with Engineering. Bring field feedback into product decisions, consult on future hardware and platform features, and test new equipment before production.
  • Coordinate with site teams. Work with integrators, electricians, and the GC to install equipment in the right place, on schedule, without disrupting construction.
  • Troubleshoot in the field. Diagnose and fix hardware, network, and camera issues on site, and escalate platform issues to Engineering with what they need to act remotely.
  • Bench-test and train. Pre-configure equipment before it ships, and train ambassadors and Odin field staff on operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Document everything. Record what was installed, where, how it’s configured (including network and power design), and what’s non-standard. Every custom build gets a spec.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 6+ years in field implementation, field engineering, or technical deployment, physically making technology work on job sites.
  • Low-voltage and power. Low-voltage wiring, termination, and structured cabling, plus field power management (PoE budgeting, UPS and battery backup, temporary or off-grid power).
  • Networking. Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, PoE switching, Wi-Fi, subnetting, firewalls, and LTE with failover.
  • Edge compute. Deploy and maintain Linux-based edge devices, including command-line diagnostics.
  • Custom builds. Experience building and documenting non-standard hardware, such as custom enclosures or power and network kits.
  • Experience with systems integrators or low-voltage security contractors.
  • Knowledgeable with enterprise camera systems (e.g. Avigilon, Hanwha, etc.)
  • Comfortable on active construction sites, working around trades without stepping on the GC’s toes.
  • Self-directed, since you’re often the only Odin person on site, and able to turn field problems into clear requirements for Engineering.

Nice To Have:

  • Certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, BICSI, NICET, ETA Fiber Optics Installer, or NABCEP PV Associate.
  • Manufacturer certifications (Axis, Genetec, LenelS2, HID); and OSHA 10 or 30.
  • Experience managing hardware inventory across multiple sites.
  • A habit of organized handoffs that let others run a site without you.
  • Experience with access control, IP cameras, turnstiles, or security management.
  • Background in construction tech, data centers, or critical infrastructure.

Benefits and Eligibility

  • Competitive salary package
  • Comprehensive health insurance coverage for you and your family
  • Flexible working hours and remote work options
  • Generous vacation and paid time off policy

This role includes periodic travel to customer job sites.
