Sales Intern - Hunting/Shooting Industry
COMPENSATION RANGE: $15.00-$17.00/hour based upon experience.
THE COMPANY: OUR COMPANY IS A SALES LEADER in the outdoor sporting goods industry; acting as the manufacturers’ representative for a collection of the industry’s highest quality and most prestigious brands on the market.
THE SALES INTERN POSITION:
This position will assist our team with responsibilities related to one of our top big box corporate accounts in Springfield Missouri. You will be part of a team that works with manufacturers and executes top to bottom sales strategies at the highest level! Analyzing trends, forecasting product sales and managing assortments are just a few examples of this positions day-to-day!
SALES INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support sales of outdoor products to national customer
- Forecasting and sales analysis
- Order tracking and order maintenance
- Monitor inventory levels
- Sales presentation
- Sales training
- Work sales promotions
- Prepare advertising/marketing plans
- Daily communications with manufacturers and accounts
SALES INTERN POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- REQUIRED; Strong interest and passion for the outdoors/hunting/shooting industry!
- REQUIRED; Current student majoring in Business, Finance, Economics or related field
- Knowledge of hunting and shooting sports
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working in a team environment
- Excellent data management and analytical skill accuracy
