Law Enforcement Sales Representative

OUR COMPANY:
Our Company is a leading manufacturers rep agency in the law enforcement market to include patrol, SWAT, and other specialized units. We handle B2B sales for quality manufacturers of patrol rifles, optics, ballistic and tactical lights, and other law enforcement gear. Build relationships with dealers, distributors, and end users to maximize growth in the territory.

THE LAW ENFORCEMENT OUTSIDE SALES REP POSITION: 
We are currently looking for an Outside Manufacturer Rep to join our Law Enforcement division and cover a portion of the Midwest territory. Our Outside Manufacturer Rep is responsible for managing our relationships and sales of established accounts and also build relationships with new accounts in a specific territory. You will be responsible for showcasing new products, analyzing sales and sell-through metrics, develop sales promotions and strategies as well as product sales training for law enforcement distributors and agency accounts.  In addition. you will provide exceptional customer service to our accounts; answering their questions and problem solving when issues arise.  

LAW ENFORCEMENT OUTSIDE SALES REP RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sales and dealer support of the Midwest territory. 
• Attend law enforcement trade shows and tactical events
• Forecasting and sales analysis
• Order tracking and order maintenance
• Monitor inventory levels
• Sales presentation
• Sales training
• Execute sales promotions
• Prepare advertising/marketing plans

LAW ENFORCEMENT OUTSIDE SALES REP POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree; preferred
• Currently resides in the Chicago area or within close proximity
• Previous territory sales experience; required
• Knowledge of shooting and law enforcement market; required
• Ability to travel to call on accounts in territory as well as out of territory shows and events
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working in a team environment
• Excellent data management and analytical skill accuracy
