Sales Training Manager (@Hybrid, Bellevue)

In this role, you will…
- Design and deliver comprehensive sales training programs, including onboarding, skills development, and ongoing enablement for new and tenured sales and support professionals.
- Develop engaging and scalable training content using instructional design best practices, including eLearning, video modules, live workshops, and documentation.
- Partner with sales leadership to identify knowledge gaps and create tailored enablement strategies to address team needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Revenue Operations teams to ensure training content aligns with business objectives and supports new product launches.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through metrics and feedback, iterating to improve outcomes.
- Serve as the subject matter expert in sales methodologies, tools (e.g., Salesforce), and processes, integrating them into all training initiatives.
- Lead the adoption and integration of enablement tools and technologies to enhance training delivery and impact.
- Facilitate regular training sessions and certifications to reinforce learning and track proficiency.

- Equip the sales team with the necessary skills, knowledge, and tools to close deals more effectively and maintain customer relationships.
- Communicate product updates and new features to the sales team.
- Act as a catalyst for sales improvement, driving revenue growth, enhancing product development, and fostering a high-performing sales culture.
- In the first 6-12 months you will own Sales Onboarding, skills coaching and upleveling, and training for several exciting product launches coming soon!
You'll thrive in this role if you have:
- 5+ years of experience in sales training, enablement, or instructional design, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Proven expertise in instructional design methodologies and tools, such as Articulate, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated success in designing and delivering sales enablement programs that drive measurable outcomes.
- Successful track record of managing projects from start to finish and delivering high-quality results.
- Strong knowledge of sales methodologies (e.g., SPIN, Challenger, MEDDIC) and tools such as Salesforce and Zoom.
- Excellent facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
- Analytical mindset with experience measuring training impact through KPIs such as ramp time, quota attainment, and productivity metrics.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Helpful, but not required:
- Experience in a B2B marketplace or SaaS environment.
- Familiarity with tools like Absorb LMS, Seismic, or similar learning and enablement platforms.
- Education/Certifications in instructional design, training, or sales methodologies.
Compensation: Base Salary: $96,000 - $125,000
OfferUp offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. Individual salaries within our ranges are determined through a variety of factors, including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. All roles will receive equity in OfferUp as part of their compensation, the amount of equity varying depending on the individual’s level and experience.
Benefits (all US roles): In addition to our compensation package, this role is eligible to enroll in health insurance, healthcare savings, and spending accounts, retirement savings benefits (401(k) plan with match), basic and voluntary life insurance, disability benefits, and paid time off for sick leave, family and/or medical leave, vacation, and 12 company holidays. In regard to vacation time, OfferUp has a flexible vacation policy, and, in general, full-time, exempt employees will be expected to take 3-5 weeks (15-30 days) of pre-planned vacation time per year. Vacation needs are flexible and will naturally vary from year to year based on individual circumstances and business needs. In regard to sick time, all full-time employees (exempt and non-exempt) will be granted 12 days (96 hours) of sick time per year (pro-rated if the start date is other than January 1).
