Candidate Activation Specialist

As a Candidate Activation Specialist (CAS), your mission is to support and guide candidates accepted onto the platform as they navigate the early stages of their job search journey on OfferZen. You will answer customer questions, provide customised advice, troubleshoot issues and work closely with other teams in the business to ensure a smooth customer experience. Your job is to ensure customer satisfaction and retention by making the onboarding process as efficient as possible.  You must collaborate expertly with your customers, Talent Advisors & Marketplace Insights teams.

Outcomes

  • Consistent conversion of candidates who are accepted onto the platform to candidates who are live and engaged on the OfferZen platform
  • Positive candidate feedback via Customer Effort (CES) and Net Promoter Score (NPS) surveys

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact for new customers, answering questions, and providing guidance
  • Get customers visible to companies on the OfferZen platform as quickly as possible
  • Monitor progress and guide customers through the activation process
  • Troubleshooting on calls
  • Providing candidates with data-driven market insights and salary advice on calls
  • Working with other teams in the business to create and update customer education materials

You’ll be a great fit for this role if

  • 2 years of working experience, preferably in recruitment or talent acquisition
  • Passion for recruitment and solving human problems
  • A proven track record of achieving measurable results and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong human-centered, customer service focus; a commitment to driving candidate success and customer satisfaction
  • Experience tackling problems head-on and articulating lessons learned
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with active listening abilities 
  • You can operate independently in a remote environment and cultivate strong relationships in a primarily remote capacity
  • Strong multi-tasking ability and great time-management skills 

Advantageous

  • Experience in customer succes
  • The ability to work with various reporting tools and CRM to keep track of your candidates and collaborate with the internal OfferZen team
  • Experience working in a startup
  • You have worked in a capacity where motivating others was essential to your success
  • A high level of emotional intelligence
