Summary

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be instrumental in building out our knowledge-sharing marketplace. You will be directly responsible for driving growth for our Investor and Corporate segments. Through thoughtful and scalable prospecting using a range of sales tools and established strategies, your goal will be to identify, qualify, and secure as many meetings with top investment managers and consulting firms.

This role is fast-paced and highly competitive, with a focus on pipeline generation and business growth. You will spend most of your time prospecting into venture capital, private equity, consulting, and startup customers and sparking their interest in exploring Office Hours as a research platform. As the tip of the spear for the Office Hours growth engine, you will work alongside Sales, Business Operations, Customer Success.

We are looking for candidates who are excited to face the successes and challenges winning businesses from enterprise customers including but not limited to multi-billion asset managers and international consulting firms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation:
    • Research and identify potential prospects within target industries and markets. Current ideal client personas include but are not limited to: Venture Capital, Startups, Growth Private Equity, and Technology Consultants.
    • Execute outbound prospecting activities through personalized email campaigns, phone calls, and LinkedIn to generate leads.
    • Research, develop, and implement creative lead generation strategies.
  • Lead Qualification:
    • Engage with VCs, Growth PE, and qualified startups to understand their business needs and challenges.
    • Qualify leads based on established criteria and partner with sales to close contracts.
  • Communication and Relationship Building:
    • Articulate the value proposition of Office Hours to potential customers.
    • Build and nurture relationships with investors, key decision-makers, and buyers.
  • Collaboration with Sales Leadership:
    • Work closely with leadership to establish and maintain a smooth sales journey for every client.
    • Provide feedback from prospect interactions to influence sales strategies, product roadmap, processes, and messaging.
    • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and industry developments and surface key market signals to the broader team.
  • Data Enrichment:
    • Utilize CRM tools to track and manage prospect interactions and lead progression.
    • Enrich Salesforce and Outreach with pertinent account and contact level data.

Pay Transparency Notice:

Full time offers from Office Hours also include target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).

Pay range: $68,000 – $75,000 + uncapped performance-based variable compensation

This is a hybrid role, in-office in San Francisco or NYC 2-3 times per week.
