Summary
We’re looking for an ambitious, proactive problem-solver interested in getting the insider’s look on what it’s like to grow a business from scratch. The Chief of Staff Extern will work closely with Office Hours CEO and co-founder Joe Kim to 1) be a partner in developing key company-wide priorities and materials and 2) tackle special projects to ensure that Joe is able to focus on highest-impact activities across the business.
Responsibilities
- Be a strategic partner:
- Collaborate with the CEO and leadership to define and execute company priorities, such as annual goals and OKRs
- Act as a gatekeeper to ensure focus on high-impact activities.
- Tackle special projects:
- Address ad-hoc requests and emerging issues, such as pricing for new a product line, contract renewal strategy, evaluating employee benefits, etc.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of key team members, fostering a positive work environment.
- Manage CEO and leadership schedules, prepare materials, and coordinate meetings.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and materials for leadership meetings.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of full-time work experience
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.

- Experience in a fast-paced environment or startup is a plus.

Pay Transparency Notice:
Full time offers from Office Hours also include target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).
Pay range: $90,000 – $140,000, based on seniority and relevant experience
This is a hybrid role, in our San Francisco office 2-3 times per week.
