Job Overview:

As a Digital Designer with Video Editing skillset, you’ll be responsible for designing dynamic digital assets and editing video content that aligns with our brand's goals. You’ll work closely with the creative and marketing team to produce high-quality content for web, social media, advertising campaigns, and internal projects. Your role will be integral in ensuring that both static and motion content is cohesive, engaging, on-brand, and optimized for digital channels. As an AI-first company, you will also use the latest tools and technologies to extend the power of your production with AI assistance.

Additionally, a strong understanding of brand development and the ability to translate brand strategies into visual assets is key. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Motion: Create eye-catching visual assets, including social media posts, email templates, website graphics, and digital ads, ensuring a consistent brand aesthetic.
  • Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished, compelling video content, using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other tools to enhance with motion graphics, sound design, and transitions.
  • Social Media & Web: Tailor your video and design content to the specifications and best practices of various platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, etc.).
  • Collaborate: Work closely with the marketing team to understand campaign goals and translate them into creative, high-impact digital content.
  • Optimization: Optimize all digital content (video and design) for performance across web and social platforms, ensuring proper formats, sizes, and loading times.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs and video content are on-brand and support our overarching marketing strategy.
  • Brand Development: Contribute to the development and evolution of our brand’s visual identity across digital platforms, helping to ensure consistency across touchpoints.
  • Innovation: Stay up to date on design trends, video production techniques, and the latest tools, ensuring our content feels fresh and modern.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in digital design and video editing with a portfolio showcasing both. You should be able to demonstrate a balance of strong graphic design skills and video editing expertise.
  • Tools: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.). Knowledge of other video editing or design tools (Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.) is a plus. Use of AI and agentic AI preferred.
  • Video Editing: Strong skills in video editing, including cutting, color grading, sound design, and creating smooth transitions.
  • Motion Graphics: Experience creating and animating motion graphics to enhance video content (text animation, logo reveals, transitions).
  • Platform Know-How: Deep understanding of how to create optimized content for digital platforms, including social media and websites.
  • Design Principles: Strong understanding of design fundamentals, including typography, layout, and color theory.
  • Detail-Oriented: Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a keen eye for detail and quality in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaboration: Strong communication and teamwork skills. You can effectively take feedback and iterate quickly.
