The Role 

We are looking for a Performance Marketing Specialist to own and scale our digital demand generation efforts. In this hands-on role, you will report to the Director of Growth Marketing and manage a multi-channel paid media program that is a critical growth lever for our pipeline and revenue. 

The role is open to remote candidates anywhere in Costa Rica (with flexibility to work from home); if you are based in the San José area, we practice a Purposeful Presence hybrid policy with transportation and meal benefits with required in-office days at our premiere location in Ezcazu. We need an analytically strong, fast-moving marketer who can both strategize and execute campaigns with rigor and creativity to hit aggressive targets. You must be comfortable using AI and agentic AI workflows daily to scale performance, accelerate decision-making, and optimize marketing efficiency.

What You’ll Do 

  • Plan & Execute Campaigns: Design and implement end-to-end digital marketing campaigns across paid channels – including Google Ads, Microsoft Bing, LinkedIn Ads, 6Sense, Capterra, RevLeads, and Reddit – to generate qualified leads and fuel our sales pipeline for the OfficeSpace SaaS platform. 
  • Budget Management: Manage and optimize a significant paid media budget, allocating spend across channels to maximize ROI. Monitor key performance metrics (CTR, CPC, CPL, conversion rates, CAC, ROAS) on a daily/weekly basis, and adjust bids, targeting, and creative in real-time to improve results. 
  • Hands-On Optimization: Take a hands-on approach to campaign management – from keyword research, ad copywriting, and A/B testing ads/landing pages, to refining audience targeting and negative keywords. Use AI tools to accelerate testing cycles and uncover high-performance patterns. 
  • Analytics & Reporting: Deep-dive into data using Google Analytics 4 (GA4), HubSpot, and other analytics tools to track campaign performance and user behavior. Build reports and dashboards to communicate results, insights, and opportunities to the growth marketing team and leadership. Apply agentic AI workflows to automate reporting and surface optimization opportunities in near real-time. 
  • Collaborate & Strategize: Work closely with the Director of Growth Marketing to align campaigns with overall growth strategy and pipeline goals. Partner with content, design, and product marketing teams to ensure messaging and landing pages are on-point and conversion-optimized. Share customer acquisition insights with Sales and broader Marketing to improve funnel efficiency. 
  • Growth & Innovation: Stay on top of digital marketing trends, platform updates, and emerging channels. Proactively identify new opportunities (e.g. testing new ad networks, beta features, or AI-driven tactics) to expand lead acquisition. Bring an experimental mindset to rapidly test, learn, and scale new tactics that drive performance. 
  • Process & Tech: Ensure proper tracking, attribution, and tag management across all campaigns. Maintain a clean integration between ad platforms, Google Tag Manager, and HubSpot for accurate lead sourcing and funnel tracking. Leverage automation and agentic AI tools to improve efficiency, optimize ad operations, and speed up decision cycles. 

(Note: The scope of the role may evolve as we grow – a Manager-level hire might also mentor junior marketers or manage agency relationships, while a Specialist will focus more on execution. In all cases, this is a roll-up-your-sleeves position.)

What You Bring 

  • Experience: 3+ years (for Specialist) or 5+ years (for Manager) of hands-on digital/performance marketing experience, specifically in B2B SaaS or a digital agency environment serving B2B clients. You have a proven track record of driving lead generation and revenue growth through paid media. 
  • Campaign Leadership: Demonstrated success managing and optimizing sizable ad budgets across multiple channels. You can cite examples of campaigns you scaled while improving KPIs like CPL or ROAS. 
  • Channel Expertise: Deep knowledge of Google Ads (Search and Display), Microsoft Bing, LinkedIn Advertising, 6Sense, Capterra, RevLeads, and Reddit is highly preferred. You should be confident operating across these platforms independently. 
  • Analytics & Optimization: Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset. Proficiency with web analytics and marketing analytics tools, especially Google Analytics (GA4) and Excel/Google Sheets for analysis. Able to interpret data and AB test results to make quick optimizations. Familiarity with AI-based analytics or optimization tools is a plus. 
  • Marketing Tech Stack: Hands-on experience with marketing automation and CRM systems to manage leads and campaigns – HubSpot experience is a big plus (or similar platforms like Marketo). Comfortable implementing tracking codes, setting up conversion events, and ensuring end-to-end attribution is working. 
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications are highly valued. We prefer candidates who are certified in Google Ads (required), and who have certifications or training in Google Analytics 4, LinkedIn Marketing Solutions, HubSpot Inbound/Marketing, and additional B2B advertising platforms. These demonstrate a commitment to staying current and upholding best practices. 
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and spoken English fluency is required. You’ll be working in an English-speaking environment and creating/optimizing English-language ads and content. (Spanish fluency is a bonus, but English is the primary business language.) 
  • Soft Skills: Entrepreneurial mindset with a get-it-done attitude. You take ownership of results and aren’t afraid to make bold moves to drive growth. Fast learner who adapts to change and new information quickly. Strong communication and collaboration skills – able to work effectively with remote team members and present findings clearly to stakeholders. 
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred (or equivalent professional experience). Ongoing learning or professional development in digital marketing is a plus, as we value a growth mindset.
