Your Role

As an employee of Offshore Launch, you are being hired for a unique role within a target Client’s company. We value long-term partnerships, and seek to recruit talent that will serve an individual Client’s business for multiple years.

You will work full-time with the Client company. However, the Agency provides ongoing support to ensure your continued success. As such, we create space for ongoing check-ins, feedback and development through:

  • Membership in the Offshore Launch Slack workspace
  • Bi-weekly All Team meetings
  • Monthly reviews

We’re looking for a high-ownership, detail-obsessed Bookkeeper who does more than just check boxes—someone who thrives on solving problems, finishing strong, and taking full accountability for deliverables. You’ll join an experienced team supporting a fast-growing firm that’s committed to operational excellence and building long-term client trust.

 

Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping & Financials

  • Own a portfolio of small business clients in QuickBooks Online—accurately post, categorize, and reconcile transactions
  • Prepare clean, on-time financials (P&L, Balance Sheet, etc.) and proactively flag discrepancies
  • Go beyond the checklist—own the outcome, not just the task
  • Use Keeper App (our internal bookkeeping task management system) to track, manage, and document work
  • Identify blockers and roadblocks early—bring solutions, not excuses

Leadership & Oversight

  • Review and approve junior bookkeepers’ work to ensure quality and consistency
  • Hold the team accountable to deadlines and SOPs—not just through reminders, but by setting the example
  • Escalate critical issues with clarity and urgency—no ghosting, no bottlenecks
  • Lead process improvement: document what works, fix what doesn’t
  • Support onboarding and mentoring of future hires as we scale

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of bookkeeping experience, with 3+ years in a review, QA, or leadership role

  • Mastery of QuickBooks Online and a strong command of GAAP fundamentals

  • Proven ability to manage multiple books with zero babysitting

  • Sharp eye for detail—you don’t let errors slip or assumptions slide

  • Leadership mindset: you've trained, mentored, or corrected peers, and you're not afraid to speak up when the bar isn’t being met

  • High standards, low ego—you take feedback well and give it clearly

  • Strong written and verbal communication—no lost context, no vague replies

  • Comfortable working remotely and independently during U.S. business hours

  • Experience with Keeper App strongly preferred

 

Compensation & Benefits (to be provided by Offshore Launch):

  • $900–$1300/month, depending on experience
  • $500 bonus at 90 days
  • 13th month pay
  • HMO coverage (including dependents)
  • 10 Days of PTO, not including holidays 
  • Annual continuing education budget
