About the role: 

The Junior Health Finished Art / Design role is a pivotal role within the Ogilvy Health team. You have experience rolling out finished art and will be responsible for ensuring work is accurate, meets specifications and is delivered to the highest quality. You have a fastidious eye for detail. 

As the Junior Health Finished Artist / Designer, you will work closely alongside designers, art directors, copywriters, medical writers and creative directors to produce impactful work, working across the spectrum of our health clients (med comms, consumer health and public relations/affairs).

You will assist the creative team in both small - and large-scale creative projects in a fast-paced environment. You are passionate, upbeat, and have infectious enthusiasm.  

You will use your in-depth knowledge of Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop and good attention to detail for print and digital outputs across various applications.

You will also have knowledge of Power Point and be confident designing and mastering decks for the wider team. You will have passion for design, photography and typography that will show in your work.  

As a Junior Health Finished Artist / Designer, you will be happy to roll up your sleeves to get the job done and keep the department humming. You will be excited to be part of a busy creative team and will welcome the opportunity to join brainstorms, work on Health & Network briefs, and supporting the creative team as needed.  

Above all, you will be brave and ready to break the rules – know pharma, but don’t think like it! 

What you'll bring: 

  • Min of 2 years in design &/or advertising agency experience
  • Attention to detail. Comprehensive understanding of specs, formats, how to deliver finished art
  • Great eye and skill with thorough understanding of design, photography and typography
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of healthcare communications
  • Leads by example, hardworking, dedicated and passionate about design
  • Effective communication skills and a positive, calm and considered manner are essential
  • Proactive and positive approach to work and an eagerness to learn and progress
