About the Role

As an Account Group Supervisor, you will serve as a trusted, day-to-day point of contact for one or more accounts, fostering strong client relationships, anticipating their needs, and proactively addressing challenges with both clients and internal agency teams. This role requires the ability to lead and inspire a cross-functional team, an understanding of the evolving market access landscape, and a passion for delivering innovative client-focused solutions.

What You’ll Do

Market Access Program Development & Implementation: Support the strategic development and implementation of comprehensive market access programs, encompassing payer/population health communications, patient and HCP/office staff support for access, affordability, and adherence, specialty and retail pharmacy initiatives, etc.

  • Client Relationship Management:Cultivate and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact and proactively addressing their needs and concerns
  • Collaboration & Accountability: Drive collaboration across disciplines - strategy, creative, finance/operations, medical, etc. - to foster a culture of accountability and efficiency to effectively deliver customized solutions for clients’ business. Develop project briefs to document specifications for project work, ensure cross-functional alignment, appropriate budgeting, and present to client for review and approval. Manage weekly status meetings internally and with client to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of solutions.
  • Financial Management: Review weekly, monthly and quarterly financial tracking reports with Finance leads to prepare for monthly reconciliation presentation to client. Work across functions to ensure efficient management of project budgets and successful execution of the annual (or ad hoc) statement of work
  • Payer and Population Health Strategy and Execution: Developing and executing focused solutions targeting managed care organizations (MCOs), pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), health systems, IDNs, and Academic Medical Centers/Centers of Excellence. This includes market research/insights gathering (eg, advisory boards, IDIs, etc), pre-approval information exchange, value proposition development, real-world evidence/HEOR, pull through, etc.
  • Patient Access Solutions: Identifying and developing solutions to improve patient access to medications, including co-pay programs, patient assistance programs, and adherence support services. Providing post-Rx solutions to streamline processes that enable HCPs/office staff to efficiently clear the benefits verification/prior authorization processes for timely Rx fulfillment. Ensuring all promotional activities are in line with agreed-upon strategic direction, brand objectives, client policies, and regulatory guidelines
  • New Business Opportunities: Stay abreast of market access-focused healthcare industry trends and landscape changes to help inform strategic recommendations and ensure our clients remain competitive in the marketplace. Leverage insights to support development of comprehensive, strategic Brand Plans to support new business growth opportunities.

What You’ll Need

  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical/Healthcare communications. Specific experience in Market Access communications strongly preferred.
  • Client Relationship Skills: Proven ability to build strong client relationships, proactively identify and solve problems, and manage expectations effectively.
  • Client Engagement Skills: Excellent client engagement skills, including proactive communication, effective meeting management, compelling presentation development and delivery, and responsiveness to questions and issues.
  • Financial Management Skills: Strong financial management skills, including experience managing project budgets, reviewing and reconciling weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports, and developing annual Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Collaboration & Business Acumen: Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across disciplines to fortify current business and support growth through new business opportunities. A strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market access landscape and the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies.
