Senior Account Director, Digital (including FMCG Client)

Job Summary

The Senior Account Director is responsible for driving the digital transformation roadmap and delivery for a key client, ensuring measurable business success. Combining deep digital expertise with strategic business acumen, this role translates the client’s marketing and business objectives into scalable, user-centric digital experiences that deliver strong ROI.
As a trusted advisor, the Senior Account Director leads a cross-functional team of digital specialists including Research, UX, Creative, Data Analytics, and Technology experts, to develop and execute innovative solutions. With a strong foundation in Marketing and Customer Experience, along with expertise in marketing technology, the Senior Account Director ensures seamless execution and alignment with the client’s vision.
This role involves working closely with senior stakeholders, internal and network teams to ensure strategic alignment, smooth execution, team and client happiness and long-term success.

Main Responsibilities

  • Partner with the team to drive a strategically sound and structured digital strategy and product roadmap for clients leading to positive business impact
  • Run workshops and ideation sessions with external and internal stakeholders
  • Growth oriented mindset with delivery capability
  • Lead the delivery of the program to success while ensuring alignment with requirements and stakeholders’ expectations
  • Continuously develop the consulting and delivery methodology, processes and tools
  • Mentor junior team members and executives
  • Support agency pre-sales efforts of digital platform programs

Requirements

  • Bilingual (English and Japanese) skills are preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of marketing technology platforms
  • Strong understanding of marketing processes and workflow including campaign execution & content development
  • Experience with analytics and data-driven processes/decision making
  • Strong understanding of strategy and design process informed by customer centric, “human centered design” thinking
  • Possess initiative to drive improvement and streamline processes
  • Experience with managing program level scope (change control) and finances
  • Experience with client management and account development planning
  • Experience with managing localized & regional communications
