Content Strategist – WPP Content Studio
The Role
At WPP Content Studio, strategy is not just about Powerpoints—it’s about powering ideas that move culture and drive results.
As a Content Strategist, you are the connector between insight, creativity, and execution. You think about audiences first—who they are, what they care about, how they behave across digital platforms—and translate that into sharp strategies for content, campaigns, and platforms.
You are part trend-spotter, part storyteller, part analyst. You can decode data, distill cultural signals, and turn them into strategies that excite creatives, inspire clients, and perform in-market. And because we’re building the future of content, you’ll also be leveraging AI tools to unlock smarter insights, faster planning, and sharper recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Creative, Business, and PM teams to define briefs that are rooted in consumer insight and cultural relevance.
- Develop digital and social strategies across paid, owned, and earned platforms—connecting culture, conversation, and commerce.
- Identify and map audiences, uncovering behaviors, passions, and platform patterns.
- Translate brand and business goals into actionable social and digital plans with clear KPIs.
- Use AI tools (provided by the studio) for trend analysis, audience segmentation, content planning, and performance optimization.
- Build and present compelling strategic decks that simplify complexity and inspire creativity.
- Track platform evolutions, emerging tech, and pop culture shifts—sharing insights that keep the studio ahead.
- Collaborate with creators and designers to ensure strategies translate into content that performs.
- Monitor campaign results, interpret performance data, and recommend optimizations.
- Push boundaries: challenge briefs, provoke new thinking, and champion ideas that stand out.

- Comfortable using AI and data tools for insights, planning, and reporting.
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills—you can make strategy exciting, not dry.
- Experience collaborating with creative and production teams.

Personal Attributes
- Culturally curious: always scanning what’s next in fashion, music, gaming, tech, memes, and beyond.
- Collaborative and inclusive—thrives on working with creators, business leads, and clients.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, adaptive, and energized by a fast-paced environment.
